Ok that's me sorted at work until Tuesday. Glasgow here I come. 12.30 out of Warrington hitting Glasgow at approx 15.20. Hotel @ approx. 15.30, some random Bar @ 15.45, wasted a few hours later, perfect timing I think.

Looking forward to it immensely. Anyone have any ideas of what bars we are hitting on Friday if people are around..

I"ll be about an hour behind you.

Poker is a cruel mistress, what is the world coming to when you get them all in behind and miss.

Back at home after a lovely weekend in Glasgow. I decided this morning to come home a day early (old age creeping in). It was great to meet up with all the guys and girls again and I had a blast. Friday night was good, it must have been as I was politely told that I had enough and would I like to go home by the bouncer at the casino. No problems I toddled off to bed.

Saturday I had a lovely lunch of mince and tatties with Rich Baker and John Murray. The poker was mean though and I had zero cards at any stage. I lasted until level six and having 4k left  I shoved with A 10 on a A 4 3 board when the other guy of course had A 4. It's all in the timing.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just gave an American an explanation of cricket that I thought I would share, it"s an oldie but a goody....

You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.

Each player in the side that's in goes out and when he's out he goes in and the next player goes in until he's out.

When all the players are out then the side that's out goes in and the side that's in goes out and tries to get those coming in out.

Sometimes you get players still in and not out.

When both sides have been in and out, including the not outs, that's the end of the game.

Simple really.
