In 1976 I received an award for something from the office of the President of Ireland (funnily enough he resigned shortly after, an extra point for his name)

-- any guesses what it was for.....

Prize for the winner

I don"t mean to be pushy or anything but ................... what was the feckin award for??

Jeez -- imptatient or what, all will be revealed, as Des says, soon

Any news?

Marie commented that there were a lot of wasps outside her window. Sure enough there they were crawling into a wee hole at the corner of the window. Bugger, time for the professionals I think.

Rang the company yesterday, he came round today, treated the hole and a couple more, told me that was that and he told me that the whole nest would be dead within 4 hours, we shook hands, money was exchanged and he was off.

I like that kind of service.

Oh, If you set a reminder on sky+ to watch a program but you remember before hand and you are actually on the channel why does it still remind you  ::)

Today I will be mostly doing nothing. However I have one task that needs doing.

This task is not onerous, it is not taxing and it is by no means tiring.

It is a pleasurable, friendly and impressively satisfying.

Yep I am off to my sister's for a Sunday Roast.

Priceless.

Not to be outdone the sterling residents of Ellesmere Port seem to be gearing up for a wee bit of a rumble tonight, If they had a brain cell between them they would be dangerous.......

Mob now collected in Cheshire Oaks Retail Park. This is getting a wee bit surreal now, I suppose Boots, Currys, Next and a quick pizza afterwards then is in order. Jeez get a life... Alternatively the Police could get tough I can dream.......

I wonder if the numbnuts in charge have considered a curfew for any moron with a hoodie, a face scarf or a petrol bomb in their possession. Oh wait....that would scupper any poker playing after dark  :o
