Aquarium last night was funny, anyway I ended up heads up and John would not chop as he wanted the points - he had a 3-1 chip lead anyway. So I obviously went all in every hand and 3 hands later I was 2nd  ;D ;D

Missing tonights game as a great friend of mine is emigrating to Australia next week and it would be rude if I didn"t make sure he had a massive headache tomorrow  ;D ;D

Went for an eye test last week and it wasn't much of a surprise that my prescription had changed. They do all sorts of tests on your eyes before the actual sight test, air into the eye, x ray thingy etc etc.

So I eventually got into the actual opticians room and she fires up the computer.

"Initial tests have found that your blood pressure is fine, your Cholesterol  is high, you haven't got Glaucoma and you have the beginnings of a cataract in your right eye"

Well I started looking around and took my phone out.

"What are you doing" says she

"Just checking my diary, I was sure I had an eye test and my Doctors appointment is next week"

Anyway my varifocal prescription was expensive, daily glasses and prescription sun glasses = £600.

Ouch

The car went in today to have the airmatic suspension looked at, and the air con fan, I awaited the phone call.

The call came...

"We have completed the diagnostics on the car and it"s the airmatic pump that needs replacing along with the air con fan"
"How much"
"Well the total when including parts labour and Vat, oh and by the way we don"t stock the part and we may have, blah blah blah"

They are stalling this will be expensive

"HOW MUCH PLEASE" says I cutting in

"£866.66"

Big Fecking Ouch.... that"s just under a 1/3 of what I paid for the car FFS
