Have you ever visited a website where it is near-impossible to find a telephone number for shoppers to get in touch. However if you add a high value item to your shopping basket, a telephone number will appear somewhere on your screen.

Then if you go to close the window with that same high value item still in the basket, a message will pop up asking you if you need help.

In other words, assistance is being offered at the point where they think they are going to lose the customer and not before.

Same in the real world (although wrong for sure)..if u walk into a expensive shop " not looking the part"..they ignore you...if u look rich they"ll be all over you!

go to a jewellers...look at the "cheap stuff"..then go over to the Expensive stuff...watch them move!!

On the BBC this morning they switched to local news just before the hour as they usually do, and they ended the bulletin with the weather forecast as they usually do.

Now I know the lady doing the weather forecast is only reading a script, and the script is provided by the Met Office. So she rattled through the script and finished off by saying the North West will have a fine day tomorrow with sunshine and high temperatures.

When she finished the anchor man said.

"So a perfect day for a BBQ tomorrow then"

She replied

"Don't quote me on that"

On a side note just watched Phil Taylor whitewash Kevin Painter in the UK Open. He created another World Record with an average of 118.66 over 9 legs. It's been said before, but the man needs recognition for his exploits.

He"d get my vote for sports personality of the year, but he"s hardly ever nominated.

I know Darts isn"t a "proper" sport, but the dedication that Taylor puts in and the subsequent dominance that he has surely makes it a sport worthy of recognition
