Hey Ger, maybe I"m teaching you to suck eggs and all but you can have a full signal on your phone and not have a 3g signal. Have you tried going out with it and seeing if your 3g signal comes on. I know we had o2 at Vauxhall and we had to switch back to vodefone because the signal was garbage. So much so that O2 reps came up to do a signal test cause they though I was lying to them to get a free phone. At first they switched us to 3g phones but they were still crap, so now we back to vodefone. Hope everything works out. No fun getting excited about a new phone then running into trouble.

The little fecking "G" by the full signal indicator was a bit of a giveaway, I might try their "day" team before I hit it with a hammer and send it back   ;D

Went down the shell last night and cashed. Wee Man crashed and burned but took down the side game again (4 in a row now) . I reckon he will have to arrive fashionably late in future and forget about the main game.

FFS Football domination on the TV (might get interested after Irelands thrashing by the All Blacks  ::) )

Might just spend the day trying to get used to the new Streak now that myself and O2 have come to an understanding.

Google do have some very good applications when you look into them.

Oh and my downloads stopped working on Friday. Tried everything, no go. I was not - no way - going to ring customer support. So I searched a few forums and tried a few things and still no downloads.

Then I found a wee post that said.....

"If google have asked you to move to gmail (from googlemail) then you have to reset your phone and reregister with the gmail address"

Feck me that worked and 20 apps came flying in (I was testing a bit LOL)

Now why couldn"t google have said that when they urged me to move to the gmail addy.

Pffffft -- you could go off an organisation
