I love going to these APAT games but I hate the pre travel panic. I am not yet packed (leaving the house at 4pm - 3.55 should be time enough) I have to iron some tops (and some bottoms) make sure all the fecking chargers are in the bag. I have, at last, managed to print my boarding pass but you can only print 24hrs in advance so the hotel will have to oblige me by printing my return one.

Looking forward to this immensly - I hit the hotel at about 8pm but as I am flying I will already be lubricated anyway  ::)

Aberdeen notes

I suck at poker
I own blackjack
"Clubs" attended with Ironside at £20 for 4 dances is exactly what it says on the tin
Ironside deliverately picks "clubs" at the top of hills (sorry braes) and he"s heavy
Casino was the nutz
The staff were brilliant
The manager was great
Jack is fast becoming a legend
Eck always has 10 10  ;D
Following threads without the live feed is a wee bit confusing
Tank is mad
Rod"s mother got confused
Claire"s (the barmaid) mother was definately confused
NFL is the new casino drink of choice

Will not mention my exit from the main event as the wounds are still raw.

All in all another great weekend

Good people, great craic, priceless............

Variance.

Additional Aberdeen notes

Great seeing you and everyone else again.
Representing the hand your opponent has isn"t ftw.
I blame you for me being hammered on Friday.
Spending Saturday night with your head down the toilet isn"t a good lifestyle choice.
When I said "I"d like to wake up next to Maylis" - whilst playing a sit n go wasn"t really part of the plan

Great weekend. As ever.

Advert on TV tonight.

"Camera with improved face recognition so you can focus on the ones you love....." and the name of your child appears below their face........

FFS you are taking a picture and if you don"t reconise your own child you are an idiot - Jesus

Full Tilt is now my favoured site (It might have something to do with playing 3 - 27 seater $5 and cashing in all of them, including a win). But tonight is Friday and that means the fishtank for a few cheapy beers and "live" poker.

cover me I am going in  ;D

So what's in store today, I have a bit of testing to do around 6pm and again at 9pm (Firmware upgrade on our main servers), so will mainly be chilling out with a few beers and maybe a bit of full tilt poker. Tomorrow of course is the Betfair APAT league and I think it will be light on numbers given the occurrence of a certain match on the same day. It's very tight at the top of Division 1 and it's all to play for.

Lots kicking off on other forums during the week with a few people getting financially burnt, the worst thing is relationships have been irrevocably destroyed. Money can be replaced other things aren't so easy.

EPIC FAIL

My chilling day was not to be. Carl and myself have been talking about replacing the fence that divides our properties. So we decide to do it today. Off to Wilkes for the panels and creosote and spend the last couple of hours removing the old and bringing in the new. I deserve a beer.

Oh and my pathway needs weeding  ::) Thats a job for the student in the house to earn his beer money

Playing on full tilt the HA pot limit, it"s a nice way to relax 7/17 - pays to 8 - nice change to play a level of each
