My new Dell streak would not charge so I ring O2 and they said they would sent out a new charger. Talking to Carl he was dubious that it was the charger. So I ring them back and demand a new unit.

In a heartbeat they tell me a new unit will be delivered on Monday, damn I was hoping for a fight. Then I got to thinking why were they so helpful. Am I being a cynic or has there been a flood of breakdowns and they are doing damage limitation by not quibbling.

Let"s see

Oh and the artist described it as

"An anecdotal conscious anthropology where the get-away journey offers a fleeting moment of a failed utopia."

GTFO (he gets £35,000 in total if he wins so maybe he"s right and I am so wrong)

"To vent one's spleen" now there"s a phrase. In my case I take it to mean "to express one's anger," usually in forceful terms and/or at top volume.

The spleen is, of course, one of those brave little organs nestled in the human midsection (just to the right of the stomach, in this case), performing those thankless tasks we don't notice until something goes wrong and our deductible becomes relevant.

The spleen's job is to act as a sort of filter for the blood, but in the late 16th century it was decided that the spleen was the source of rage and ill-temper. Thus "spleen" has for several centuries been a metaphor for "anger," "resentment" and general crankiness.

Oh you can remove the spleen and still live - education eh......

Alberto Contador is set to win his third Tour de France after increasing his lead over Andy Schleck to 39 seconds going into the final stage. Now cast your mind back to a previous stage when Schleck was leading by 31 seconds when his chain came off. Contador took full advantage to gain 39 seconds on his rival. People were saying it was bad form to take advantage "not done" was the cry. Not illegal, just "not done".

If he had observed etiquette they would now be equal in time.

But winners don"t observe etiquette do they, they ride to win.

Lots of divided opinions on this.......
