Leigh aka Chipaccural

We can't see the stats but I would say that he is the most prolific poster on the forum (FFS he never shuts up).

I can, he is (5766)...closely followed by Tighty (5559) and..ahem...you (5523)!

Although, with this blatant-count bloating you"re doing...you"ll soon be in second place..or at least until Luton.

Paul aka Paulie_D

APAT's travel guru. If you want to get from Sidcup to Singapore Paulie's your man. He will get you times for planes, boats, trains, camels and bicycles. He will get you accommodation in hotels, hostels, tents and park benches. All this in perfectly formatted posts with distances from terminus to your hotel and onto your eventual destination in miles, kilometres, furlongs and chains.

However even he is fallible as was proved on the recent trip from rural England to sprawling Dublin.

An avid gourmet and imbiber of beverages, Paulie can be seen at his normal habitat of within 5.2 feet of the nearest bar, laptop in one hand pint in the other. Always first, never ignored Paulie has a disposition that is both outgoing and cheerful. Yet to taste significant success in APAT circles he is an acclaimed master at HI/LO Eights or lower with Jacks wild, one Ace missing and one card on forehead and other poker disciplines.

Paulie has been known to move threads and posts around with a passion that would leave Pickford's hanging their head's in shame at the ruthlessness displayed.

A top man and a great asset to the family of APAT.

Dewi aka Dewi aka Dewi (ok that'll be Dewi then)

Residing in the foothills of Snowdon, this native Welsh speaking denizen of the world is an absolute legend in poker circles. Now the word legend is overused in most cases but not in this one.

His prowess at satellites is known and feared throughout the civilised world and there isn't a competition or a prize that hasn't been extracted from the fingertips of the 123 poker sites he currently plays on.

It is rumoured that in 2007 when on a regular trip to Dublin to play in another satted into competition that Diageo released over 50% of share equity onto the stock exchange in anticipation of the upsurge in sales.

Now, however he contents himself with the consumption of small ones (although the number of small ones is never disclosed, I suspects that the volume is not much different).

A pleasure to be with and, apart from his tendency to fall asleep at the table, a feared and respected player and friend.

Dawn aka Laxie

Jesus, where the hell do you start here. Born of good stock in the US of A this woman has travelled to the West of Cork to settle down in a rustic and tranquil environment. At least it was until she rode in, OMG can this lady talk. It is said that President Kennedy could narrate at a record number of words per minute. Dawn makes him look like a deaf mute in slow motion.

It was muted a couple of years back (when there was a failure in the telecommunications equipment in Ireland) that messages could be posted by mail to Dawn and she would stand on top of the MacGillycuddy Reeks and Llama herders in Peru would be able to hear her.

A frequent traveller to APAT tournaments she can be found in her natural habitat of the nearest bar to the venue at almost any hour of the day. First to arrive and last to leave this lady is always at the centre of things.

When arrangements are being finalised with casino's the last question of the conversation is always "and Dawn?". Depending on the answer they then line up counsellors for the bouncers and bar staff in order to waive off the inevitable breakdowns that would otherwise follow a visit of this woman.

Earlier this year Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and United States President Barack Obama discussed a wide range of issues. There were in complete agreement that if Dawn had been deployed in Afghanistan in the early days all antagonists would have either downed arms or emigrated to Iraq where it would be a hell of a lot safer.

A hell of a woman and I for one count myself lucky to be her friend.

Jack aka Technolog aka Martyn

Slimmer of the year 2009, Jack has shown tremendous fortitude in his quest for a leaner meaner profile. Never one to walk further than his front door without taking a taxi, Jack can now be found walking the length and breadth of the UK. In fact he is thinking of walking across England next year, I kid you not.

Poker playing machine who makes a habit of getting to final tables, he can be found sipping water at a casino near you. A couple of years ago John Smith's launched an investigation into why their sales had taken such a dramatic dip. When the reason was found the person responsible for looking after the Prime account was fired for dereliction of duty.

On a trip to Vegas with Chezger, Jack was taken aback by the all you can eat buffets and had to be prised away on numerous occasions. Food production in the USA stopped for 1 hour as a mark of respect when Jack boarded the plane.

Great company with his quiet wit and excellent disposition Jack is a true gentleman and a great friend.

Mary aka Mair aka pokerlass

Mary is a lassie from North of the border and has been instrumental in keeping the Picts in line during the league. She also is very frugal, as befits her heritage. When she heard that APAT was paying by the megabyte for their storage on the forum, she immediately helped out by deleting a couple of threads, top stuff.

Has been known to play a mean hand of poker by the way and has conquered APAT comps and other MTT's with uncanny regularity.

Travels to APAT's when she can and is great company. Has been known to sink a drink or two whilst on her travels. Can be relied apon to rail when others are in and appreciate the rail when she goes on one of her deep runs.

Top woman fierce supporter of APAT
