Munster win confortably against Toulon, can Leinster overcome Saracens?.

Indeed they did.

JP Likes both of these

Reasons

a) Having played Munster 3 times last season a "special relationship" has developed between the 2 clubs. The fans in Limerick were incredibly hospitable to us and Thormond Park is great. We are a good, respectful rugby club with good fans and the Munster fans clearly respect this.

Apparently (I missed the game due to holiday) a large number of Munster fans came to Saints v Castres for the Friday night game last week as it was "on their way" to their Saturday game with London Irish. Genius!

b) I, and many other Saints and fans of other English teams, are feeling a bit "anyone but Saracens" at the moment. They have some talented players and can play good rugby but quite frankly the CEO and DoR are simply NOT gentlemen displaying some of the antics more akin to the round ball game so I am happy to see them lose at the moment.

Out of curiousity Ger, which is your team?

Munster of course being a good Clare boy. There is nothing like the silence when the opposition is taking a kick at Thomond park - It is Special

It"s replicated at Franklin"s Gardens - not quite on the same scale but equally respectful

Well, today's team build was an afternoon of GoKarting in Warrington. Billed as the longest track in Europe. We turned up got our overalls, got our safety briefing and were let loose for some qualifying rounds. There was only 8 cars on the track at any one time as we were in 8 teams.

We qualified 2nd and took our position second on the grid. The idea was that each driver would do 15 minutes each and as it was a 2 hour race we would drive twice. I was first to go and we had a proper start with lights and everything. 5 lights go on then when they go off we sprint for the first bend.

Now experienced drivers might make the first bend without mishap. We were not of that persuasion and there was no way I was giving up my position. Therefore there was an almighty pile up in the second corner and I was given a massive shunt from behind, then another one as the driver behind was shunted in turn. I took a massive hit and my neck started to hurt straight away. I managed only 5 minutes of my stint when I had to pull in and another driver take over. I could not move my neck and it is fecking sore as I type. I just know that I will pay for this in the morning.

Final result was we came 4th which wasn't too bad as I took no further part in the driving stakes.

Conclusion
Too Old
Too Slow
Too Stubborn
Too Foolish

Next team build is a fecking pub crawl....
