This morning I am taking the wee man to Uni

I wake him
I wake him again
I shout at him to hurry up
I shout again
I stand at the door berating him that we must go NOW
He shuffles out the door mumbling
We get in the car
It take 5 minutes to defrost
"I could have had 5 more minutes in bed"

Priceless

Does this date back to when you were, "The getaway driver"

Refer to go-karting, not waiting 5 mins to defrost ;D ;D

Driving home from Warrington depot today there was an advert on the radio, it was about pain killers. The actual phrase at the end was.

"This product can improve the pain"

This sentence puzzled me, it comes across as the pain will get worse, ie improved.

Is that just me ???

My take would be that pain is a "negative" so to improve a negative, it becomes a positive...improving.

ie / -1 improved is 0 or +1

My understanding of that phrase would be that you"ll be in just as much pain, but the quality of the pain will be much higher.

Songs evoke lots of different "emotions" in me, here is the top three.

1. Nostalgia
2. The wow factor
3. Sadness

Will post my three shortly - have a think - but only three "emotions" mind

1. Nostalgia

This song evokes memories of one particularly wonderful time of my life, obviously involves a wee girl. This was the song that played most evenings as we courted in the moonlight.
