Michael Connolly - is my favourite author, well worth a read of his novels. If you are new to him, try and read "em in order, and you will get to know all the characters. "The Poet" is one of my all time favourite reads. Currently reading his latest " The Reversal" and it is up to his usual high standards.

When I was in my first disastrous marriage I took to coming home late at night in a usually futile effort to avoid confrontation. One particular night I was ambling home at about 3am, after a few sherbets, when Guard Daley stopped me in the street.

"Have you been drinking Ger" says he
"Yes" says I
"Where" says he
"Ah Peadar, now I couldn't be telling you that" says I
"Ok so where are you going now" says he
"I"m on the way to a lecture about the effects of alcohol abuse on the human body." says I
"Oh Really? And who"s going to give a lecture at this time of the morning?" says he
"My wife," says I

How"s the cold Ger? Are you returning to the peak of physical fitness that will be needed to survive this weekend?

One of my favourite authors too. "The poet" is an absolute classic. Though I do have to say that he is getting a bit sloppy IMO. The "overlook" and "the Reversal" were a bit too predictable.

Back from another great APAT weekend. Great people, great times. Will put a few words together when I can.

However, there is so much ammunition about Jack (and not just the wandering naked one) I don"t know where to start but I will find the words  ;D

A repeat offender!!

Less to hide these days though Jack (or less to hide it with these days, maybe?).

Looking forward to incident 2!!!
