No aquarium tonight I am tired and lack motivation. I might play a little online later, or not, it"s that kind of night. I will have a couple of beers though, I am not that de-motivated.

One of those poker nights, not withstanding the Pables home game disaster  ::) , I played a goodly few STT $10 NLHE on poker stars. I cashed once in 3rd. In every single game, without exception, I was beaten when ahead. Nothing held up.

It"s not a real problem shyte happens but to win one would have been good.

So that"s it for the night, going to watch a bit of TV for a while and get a wee bit more mellow and sleep in tomorrow.

I don"t really have any problems with my connection to t"internet and Ger is on Xbox live downloading stuff and playing on line etc without issue. I see all sorts of claims by other companies of speeds up to 20/30mb yada yada.... I am with Be Unlimited for £14.08pm (unlimited download - which I know is not really unlimited but I have never had an issue) and to be fair their customer service is very good (in my experience anyway).

Sooo should I look around for cheaper/faster or not.

Edit: I am not wired for cable here by the way

OMG , this reminds me of that Father Jack episode where they two boys won a competition to represent Ireland in the Eurovision because the organisors did not want to win.

Looks like Ireland don"t want to win this year either

So our very own Dawn is off to Paris today for some poker awards ceremony or suchlike. Dawn was worried that she doesn"t speak French. Cue other forums getting posts about how rude the French are and they they don"t even speak English !

As our world gets increasingly smaller with improved air travel we are constantly reminded of our shortcomings around the ability to converse in foreign languages. We seem to be annoyed when a waiter in a Paris restaurant cannot speak English.

Of course the reason he doesn't speak English could be because he is French !!!

I"ve always found that if you try to speak even a bit of french, the French will help you out, but only if you are polite enough to at least try.

Settling down for an afternoon of 6 Nations rugby.

Cant see England losing, would not be surprised if > 20pts
Scotland/Wales - tough call Wales to shade it

Ireland/France - We have to have a huge step change up and them a huge step change down - sigh

Heart says Ireland always..........

For all you England fans out there I am not doubting the expertise of the running lines and the eventual try. That was just disrespectful.

No its not, just exuberance and enjoyment of the game.

A class finisher of course, but I don"t think he lacks class or ethics, and there is no sign his opponents think he does either.
