Oh and the Blackpool's Got Talent show threw up a few side bets. To be fair they were enthusiastic.  ::)

One contestant argued with the judges, saying her style was unique and they were not tuned in to it
One wee girl in a bubble skirt should have won just for the skirt
The only guy in the comp was Matt Munroe's brother
We were told to be quiet more than once.

To be honest Jon, I am of the belief that if people break into my home they leave every human and legal right at the door. I know that is nto the law, but the law is an ass.

I was kicked out of my parents house in my late teens and had to live in a damp sh*thole of a  bed sit for a number of years on my own. One day I came home from work and some scallys had thrown a brick through my window (yes it was a lovely part of Stockton  ;D ), climbed in, smashed my 50p electric meter off the wall and stolen my lil portable TV (thats pretty much all I had). I couldnt afford insurance and was devastated  :"(. At that point in my life if I"d bumped into the f*ckers I"d have broken every bone in their bodies. People who defend their homes have my utmost sympathy so huge +1 to this.

ps UL yesterday Ger.. what was he thinking calling with a crappy flush draw.. more fishy than me :(

When it is windy and raining, leaves on the line stop trains
When it snows a bit, trains can"t run
And now when the sun shines, trains stop BBC

Lovely transport infrastucture lads......

The rest of the week will be mostly travelling to exotic places.

Tomorrow early start and off to Blythe Valley (Solihull) for a meeting.
Thursday off to Swindon for 2 days of educating depot personnel
Friday night back home
Saturday off to sunny Leicester to see Mr & Mrs Soppy.
Sunday back home.
Monday back to North West Wales.

My life is just a whirl of jet set activity.

Day 15 in the Jaxie house. Today is the last day of painting before surprise guest Ger arrives. Housemates tried to have the painting task completed earlier in the week, but failed. Paint fumes ftw. Big Whatsit has supplied housemates with an emergency beer supply...just to be safe.

See you sooooooooooooon   :D

Wow. Best of luck. Having Ger as a guest must be scary enough but as a surprise guest!   ;)

So this weekend is upon me, tonight I will be mostly donking off chips in the aquarium and getting slaughtered. Tomorrow I head for Jaxie Towers and will most probably be getting slaughtered. Home on the Sunday at some stage and will be round my sister's getting slaughtered in the evening.

Do you detect a theme.

You bet you, do bring it on.....
