Ger has a part time job manning the phones tonight for the Khan pay per view. I have to pick him up at 4am - therefore no drink. Don"t know how I am going to make it through the day....

Oh and this means that I will be playing the APAT sober. It will be a strange experience.  8)

Well the APAT Scottish On-Line tournament went well last night.  ::)

Got sweet FA for the first couple of hours then a flopped set on a 3 spade board, which turned into a 4 spade board and I had to leave it alone. Then A 10 on a ten high board when I had to fold like a baby to an all in. Drifted along then got busy (or tried to LOL) with KQ clubs and ran into 10 10, no complaints just a little frustrating.

Congrats Rob on taking the NLHE a goodly run of cards alright but maximised every step of the way. Well played Suzanne for an outstanding silver and very unlucky when HE, and an admirable Bronze for Joe. Nice one Alan for taking down the PLO, happy for Frank with his second place and a very good third for Ian.

Ger had a temp job last night in a call centre in Birkenhead, taking orders for the Khan fight. This necessitated picking him up @ 4am. I stayed up instead of going to bed and could I sleep when I crawled into my pit. Could I feck.

So today I will be watching the grand prix and taking quite a bit of a particular liquid sleeping draught. Off to Warrington for 3 days next week then back in Deeside for a day. Then off to Glasgow, did I mention I was looking forward to that.

Good GP today - Vettel is having a bad day at the office but Hamilton proving again what a competitor he is - pass him and he will pass you back.
