After making a silly call with a flopped straight, knowing full well he was going to fill a runner runner flush (what was I thinking of) I glanced at my electricity monitor and it was unusually high.

Did I leave the iron on ?
Did I inadvertently turn on the emersion ?
Did I leave something else on ?

Oh what am I thinking of -- Marie"s back  8) - Sigh Blackpool lights and every appliance on overdrive

I read the academy posts avidly. I never usually post because the posts are technical and intelligent I love them. However I have a particular pleasure when most of the posts agree with my initial diagnosis.

The fact that it involves jamming all your chips in the middle has no relevence  8)

Right 3 weeks to go till Vegas and I need to hone my skillz so it"s off the aquarium tonight. Now you might think that this is no grounding for the bright lights of Las Vegas you couldn"t be more wrong. The establishment has its fair share of fish, eejits and total nits  ;D Perfect grounding for JAPAT anyway.

Oh and there is a new TD tonight who is known for his impartiality  ::)

Yep it"s the one and only Shogun

Should be epic  8)

I know it was short handed, I know I bucked the odds, I know I rebought 3 times, but a win is a win.

So it"s back to the aquarium again tonight for beers, fun and maybe a cash  8)

OK

I know what it is
I know it isn"t perfect
I know it"s a fish fest

I know all these things, but tonight was surreal, the aquarium surpassed itself tonight.

nuff said - £3 paid into the virtual tin  ;D  (yep 6)

So it is my Birthday today. I intend to spent it relaxing (like I have all week) thanks for all the texts/FB messages/Forum posts etc it humbles me.

Even my broadband provider is giving me a days surfing for free (that's approx 0.46p, but hey it's the thought that counts)

umm, in typically belated Des form....Happy Birthday Ger!  ;D
