When the riots were in London the authorities underestimated the amount of people that would be there. Now that didn't turn out too well.

However, take the Russians stance.

The Russian authorities have permitted up to 30,000 to attend a demo in Moscow today. How many police and riot troops will shepherd this gathering. Yep 50,000.

Great idea - I"m gonna do one of my own too. Ten years is a bit put-offable and putting off has been going on too long already, so I think I"ll have to do a 5-year one.

Just one overlap with yours, which is Pamplona. I"m just back from Rio - you have to get there, it is one of the most incredible places I have been to. I expected a lot but there was just much much more than I expected. Apart from Pamplona, I need to think about the others, though I know the cheese-roll will be on it.
