lol @ the christmas tree :)

Sian disappeared out one day a couple of weeks back and I told her I would take our tree down - it was only a week late anyway and "soon" had begun to wear thin..go figure?!

She returned and I proudly pointed to the gap where the tree had previously stood.  She pointed to the roof where some shiny strips of red and gold foil continued to criss cross the ceiling.

Marvellous.

"Soon" I said.

$3.19 + .31 rebuy 180 player on stars is a great way of venting your spleen when you have been battered in other tournaments. Made the break with 1 rebuy and the addon - result I would say - now in a calm place

Watching amateur footage of the Japan earthquake and subsequent tsunami. When you watch disaster movies the tsunami wave is huge. These were small, but absolutely relentless as the water just kept coming and coming. You can use all the defences you like, all the early warning systems, all the precautions, just sometimes Mother Nature says **** You.

Watching it on tv provided one of those extremely rare jaw dropping moments for me.  The tsunami, 911 and possibly Diana"s crash were the three that will probably always stick in my mind.

Hitting the aquarium tonight for some drink, strange poker and more drink. Tonight will be a family affair, the Wee Man is around and my sister is also attending a dinner dance at the venue as well.

I was in the money last week so looking forward to a swing back to rebuys and donking out early. Given the quality of online cards over the last couple of days this should be welcome carnage..
