Yesterday I was round my sister's and she once again tried to enrol me in the walking club she is in. There is more chance of me winning the 100 metres against Usain Bolt than me taking up fecking walking.

Very happy that a thread has kicked off on the forum about a return to Vegas next November HERE, I will be travelling again. It will not be the epic proportions of last year but it will once again be great craic. It is a great trip and if you can at all make it in this economic climate I would urge you to do so.

So facebook is going to float on the stock market and they reckon the valuation will be around $75bn. Yes that is 75 followed by 9 zeros (adopting the US figure which is now widely used)..

Being a private company, Facebook does not have to publish its accounts, but reports in January last year suggested a document sent by Goldman Sachs to its clients showed the firm made a net profit of $355m on revenues of $1.2bn in the first nine months of 2010.

Whatever you think of the ethos behind the site and its privacy issues, that is a fair bit of dosh for a 7 year old company...

I don"t think I"d invest £75 for a return of 47p/year.

Unreal

(going to the USA in the summer, so for clarifications, my comment isn"t aimed at the US"s decision)
