The aquarium was one hell of a roller coaster last night. It is a re-entry of course and some dubious decisions are made coming up to the end of the re-entry period, no least by yours truly.

Second hand
86 v 64 v AK on a 2345 board all in on the turn, no miracle 7 so a 2 way split with Captain Slow losing out.

Later
my AQ v Captain Slow"s AK - no help re-entry.

Last hand before the break (end of re-entry)
My K9dd v Ray"s AA (I shoved pre) 984K3 board, double up.

7 handed
My JJ V A6 of Captain Slow (of course the A turned up)

It is as it ever will be, priceless.......

So there will be no Scottish or Northern Irish players in the men"s British Olympic football squad. I had heard that the Scottish Football Association, along with their Northern Irish and Welsh counterparts, made it clear they do not want their players involved for fear of risking their countries" separate identities in world football. However if picked the players can make their own choice.

So are there no Scots/NI players good enough or are they just being plain ignored?

I am currently commencing packing for Cork next weekend. I have the floowing in my case, but as a non-Irishman, would appreciate your sage-like advice on what might be needed.

I have packed

2 Kagools (1 to wear while we are out, while the other one dries off from when we were out earlier)

Anything missing?

Methinks people shouldn"t make these sort of errors when pointing out spelling mistakes.  ;D

Breaking News:

In a secret hideaway somewhere in central London three disgruntled gardeners have gathered in an emergency summit. Alan Titchmarsh, Diarmuid Gavin & Monty Don were spotted arriving under close security to the venue. The reason for this clandestine meeting soon became clear when they were surrounded by reporters on leaving.

Alan Titchmarsh politely said that if the occupants of Jaxie Towers did not desist trying to upstage Kew Gardens he would have to take stern action.

Monty Don was more forthcoming hinting at guerrilla tactics to prevent the Jaxie garden from growing any bigger.

Diarmuid Gavin was quoted as saying "If those two feckers think they can upstage the professionals then they have a surprise coming. We will not fecking stand for the blatant en-fecking-croachment on our fecking business. For fecks sake where will it stop, rose bushes in the front, trees at the back. We have contacted Archie and enlisted his help, napalm is not out of the question"

I have been working my socks off for the last few weeks, I need a break. I know there is a little city in the south of Ireland dissected by the River Lee, I think I will go there next Friday....

Bring it on...
