So, when the discovery of Gliese 581g was announced in September 2010 it was given an Earth Similarity Index (ESI) of 0.92 (on a scale from zero to one, with one being identical to Earth) people understandably got excited. Life as we know it elsewhere and it's only 20.3 light years away.

That's OK then, I wonder if they can get a 3 mobile signal.

Ger has gone off to a 21st, so I settle down to a few beers and some online poker while watching some swimming on the TV. I will now be watching TV and drinking after it has been proven beyond reasonable doubt that I have no clue at all. I mean what the feck was I doing with KK on a K high rainbow board thinking I was good. And I laughed when my A high flopped flush was beaten by a beautifully played runner runner boat. I giggled when my turned two pair was counterfeited by a the second pair made on the river. How I laughed...

Today will be mostly spent watching that colourful box in the corner. Selective coverage is by far the best way as the BBC main channel is annoyingly jumping from sport to sport. You just get involved and then they switch. Or conversely stay on something you don't want to watch.

GL to Poker Pops & Chuckles in the DTD GP Day 3 today as well..

After last nights epic aquarium - yep I chopped it again when time ran out - I will venture into the jaws of conflict once again.

A taste of things to come for the entrepid travellers to Chezger Fest who are thinking of joining in.

I had AA, my raise was called and my all in snap called on a flop of J93 by Q9 (I had more chips)
My JJ all in pre when 4 handed was snap called by K8hh (about equal in chips)

Welcome to the aquarium you can check in but never leave...

Priceless..........

Bubbled the money in the aquarium last night, had a good night.

It"s back to the club again today but for a different reason. There is a "Summer Jam" on with a good few bands playing. One of which is Ger and his band "Take The Leap". He is on @ 8.50pm and I am bringing my proper camera to try and get some proper shots this time.

Going to hit the club at around 4pm so I should be oiled by 8.50  ;D ;D ;D

The Wee Man was performing last night in the Whitby Sports & Social Club (aka the aquarium). Even given that I am extremely biased I must say he is improving with every gig.
