After the break no more re-entries and I lose a couple of pots then the aquarium hits back.

me  9s 9h

I am in the BB and after 4 limpers (400/800) I make it 2,100 and we lose all but Steve Jones.

Flop  9d  6h  Ac

I bet 4k and Steve ships the lot (40k)...... I have marginally more chips that him and know in my heart that I am so far ahead and call...........

he tables  Jh  8h

Turn  7d

I am resigned to the river card I have never been so sure that it will arrive, I mean inevitability or what......

yep, it"s as if the deck wanted to show me that it was boss......

Ok it's a New Year and some forward planning is required.

I intend to take Ger & Marie for a break in June, thinking of Vilamaura and hiring a villa with a pool for a week.

That's as far as the planning has gone, because I need to see the APAT schedule first. However there will be other trips that need dates, Vegas for one. Portugal again in November as well..

So in the interests of my sanity, someone in the higher echelons of APAT power hit me with some dates..

Carl might enjoy this

A blonde walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the Loan officer. She says she"s going to Europe on business for two weeks and Needs to borrow $5,000. The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde hands over the keys to a new Mercedes Benz SL 500. The car is parked on the street in front of the bank, she has the title and everything checks out. The bank agrees to accept the car collateral for the loan.

The bank"s president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the blond for using a $110,000 Benz as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Benz into the bank"s underground garage and parks it there. Two weeks later, the blonde returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.

The loan officer says, "Miss, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?"

The blonde replies, "Where else in New York City can I park my Car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?"

Finally... A smart blonde joke.

Mar 21st for 3 nights (PI Stockton West £83) and the train

So the UK Met Office has revised one of its forecasts for how much the world may warm in the next few years. The explanation is that a new kind of computer model using different parameters has been used.

;D garbage in garbage out ;D

Hidden in the body of the paper.......

If the forecast is accurate, the result would be that the global average temperature would have remained relatively static for about two decades.

Hmmm I feel the Jury is still out....

Marie this evening was looking a wee bit agitated and was in the process of formulating a post on Facebook in response to some perceived insult.

"Daddy, how do you spell dumb"

June break booked - Vilamoura with Marie and Ger, tad more expensive than November prices :)

Ok now for the aquarium again tonight - last night, 4 handed, I enticed Anne to call my shove (I had AA) she did call with 89o - and of fecking course proceeded to fill the straight......... It is what it is (live poker is so rigged)

Drink will dull the pain  ::)

Well the aquarium was buzzing last night, must have been that they heard that the value was even better with Shaz gracing us with her presence.  Normal procedures came into play during the main game and my inspired blind on blind shove was greeted with an insta call with 55 which held (I had A5 - sooted I tell ya)

The highlight of the evening was a game of PLO8 which was hilarious in the extreme. Eventually being won by John Mckenna who, seeing as he has no clue at NLHE had absolutely no idea what he was doing with this one.

Maybe he has found his game....

So today was mainly slob day, raised my head off the pillow around 1pm, had an all day breakfast down Ellesmere Port Market, watched the rugby and generally did feck all. Debating whether to have a few beers now, well not really debating just trying to get the motivation to lean over to the fridge.........

Mind over matter, got the Wee Man to get the beers  ;D ;D ;D
