The car went in today to have the airmatic suspension looked at, and the air con fan, I awaited the phone call.

The call came...

"We have completed the diagnostics on the car and it"s the airmatic pump that needs replacing along with the air con fan"
"How much"
"Well the total when including parts labour and Vat, oh and by the way we don"t stock the part and we may have, blah blah blah"

They are stalling this will be expensive

"HOW MUCH PLEASE" says I cutting in

"£866.66"

Big Fecking Ouch.... that"s just under a 1/3 of what I paid for the car FFS

I am not convinced about Wales today. Scotland have looked pretty dogged and hard to beat this year. Hopefully I am wrong but I can see Scotland by 3 here.

I think Ireland will beat France.

England are as close to a sure thing as you get. Will be a great showdown in Cardiff next week if Wales win today. It will be an opportunity to have a warm up for #YarmInvasion.

I listened to this on the radio as I was doing some work on the house. I does sound like the referee was pedantic to say the least but I was really dissappointed by Gavin Hasting"s analysis. In essence he just criticised the referee for 80 mins and stated that, were it not for the penalty just before HT Scotland could have drawn at least.

We have all been frustrated by referees but I expect better from him. I"ve always admired Gavin; I don"t have any time for his brother but that"s another story.

Don't start me on the interpretation of the new scrummage laws. The idea of a scrum is to restart the play after a minor infringement in a fair way. Oh no it doesn't, the games now consist of in excess of 20 minutes out of the 80 trying to get the scrums correct. It is an absolute mess. I know the Law makers try to make the whole thing safer, they are in fact ruining the game.

The answer, I would have to have a long think, but it sure as hell isn't working now.

Good rugby match today, England took their eyes off Italy and kept them firmly on next weeks game with Wales. This was very nearly their undoing. I thought the referee kept the scrums pretty tight but that is an area where the game needs help.

On another point - all over facebook there have been football posts this weekend, and the strange thing is the majority of them are negative ones slagging off opposition teams, not rooting for their own team. Even some posts slagging their own team when they should be getting behind them(especially Chelsea supporters), don"t understand it myself

I would think he has a good case against his former employer.

The doctor suggested a holiday to help with the stress. Is he expected to sit at home watching daytime TV or would a decent employer not want him to try and get better?

Mental illness is so misunderstood, there are still many people who laugh at colleages who are "off with stress" and see it as a sign of weakness.

Memo to Irish Coach.

1. Tackle - this is an essential part of the game and involves your team actually grabbing the opposition
2. Kicking - This gives possession back to the opposition - don"t do it so often
3. Penalty - The aim is to get the ball between the posts - not rocket science
4. Scrums - Forget it they are a mess anyway
5. Lineout - Object is to catch the ball

Now apart from some gratuitous use of stamping there has been no real passion in the play.

Get your fecking finger out and play like you are proud to be Irish.
