The aquarium luck meter did a 360 last night and KK could not hold v AQ - One hand was laughable though.

I was dealt 99 utg and put in a wee raise, John Called - Claire re raised - Charlie went all in -  I fold, John goes all in, Claire also.

John  Kh Kd
Claire  Ah A s
Charlie  Jd Jh

Board  Ac   Jc  7s  Kc  9c

Live poker is rigged I tell ya.....

Ok the weeks R&R is over and it"s back to work tomorrow. So what to do tonight? No drink and an early night or the aquarium, get smashed and have a laugh...

No brainer  ;D ;D

At work today I was surprised by my director followed by the whole of the department when I received a presentation for 25 years service at the company. 25 years FFS that"s a fecking long time and I have enjoyed it all and will remain there I think  ;D

I am off to London on Sunday for a few days with work and have decided to pay a visit to Jaxie Towers on the Saturday - what could possibly go wrong.......

Technology is a fine thing especially when you have time on your hands after shoving with 88 and run into JJ & QQ

I will tonight be partaking in real life at the aquarium in order to readjust myself to the real world...

I wouldn"t call the aquarium the "real world".

I was in Birmingham for a meeting today and was cursing the powers that be that set it up on a Friday. You"ll be OK they said the meeting will be over before 2pm. Do they not know the M6 has no respect for the time of day and that it is a living devil that feeds on traffic. It took me 1.5 hours to get there this morning - it took me 3.5 hours to get back.

Simple conclusion - too many cars too little road.

Off to London on Sunday for much of the same when the world and his mother drive back to the capital. However I has a plan  ;D

Go to Jaxie Towers on Saturday, have a few beers Saturday night, relax Sunday in good company and head towards London late afternoon. This will not of course prevent me from being in a log jam of traffic but at least Saturday night will be a blast.........

Awake and Fry up consumed, chilling in Jaxie Towers.....

Last night was "different" the BlueBell public house was a portal into the restaurant at the end of the universe as creatures of all persuasion gathered and spoke in strange tongues. Dawn, being Dawn held court in the time travel gazebo at the rear of the establishment where the Irish influence on the colour of the language was felt by all who passed through. They may have been attempting to find some direction in their lives, if this was the case Dawn certainly obliged them with the universal phrase ending in off......

Cowboy hats were in attendance as were bodies not quite matching things north of the neck. Sometimes it is good to create a surreal ambiance whilst toasting the genius of JD and Mr Cola........

Good times, Good people, priceless....
