I don"t worry about the Teachers going on strike, I don"t even get into the whole holidays argument. I don"t worry too much about air traffic controllers disrupting my travel. But I vehemently abhor this threat to strike BBC Report I mean, really.....

Now I like a bit of music with the best of them. I can appreciate a good voice and a nice song. But please explain to me the format of that program on ITV called X-Factor. You would not think that it was beyond the realms of reason that some sort of filter could be put in place. I mean some of the people they let into the auditions do not deserve oxygen, much less air time. I know they are delusional enough to believe they are good in their own little world but please do not pollute mine.

There are of course exceptions who are really good but the general theme is embarrassing. The producers must believe that putting on car crash TV is good for ratings, but I believe if they concentrated on just showing the good or promising ones then more people would watch the show. A quick request for a few bars before entering the main audition arena would not be too difficult to put in place.

But some people must enjoy the bad ones and have a great laugh at their pitiful attempts, I don't.

Total ban on smoking within 7.5 metres of any of their outlets, but hey, they only manage to ask nicely that you do not carry a gun into the store ??? Only in America, no wonder they get so may tragedies.

With the penchant for different things at weddings it comes as no surprise that one couple decided to have an owl fly into the church to deliver the rings BBC. Only it didn't go to plan and the owl flew past the gloved hand of the groom and into the rafters, where it promptly fell asleep. No amount of coaxing would bring it down.

My suggestion would involve the use of a shotgun..

Good night last night, no wandering, just sat in the one pub and drank the worlds woes away.

Now shortages of any commodity creates a vacuum that encourages profiteering on the "Black Market". Luxury items during the second world war, that kind of thing.

However Venezuela has a new item that is now in short supply BBC

New meaning of "in the shiite"  ;D

So David Haye got six stitches inserted after a sparring session and the fight is called off. Well, is a week before a big fight the right time to have full blown sparring with a 6" 6" Croatian  ;D
