Last night"s Season 7 Championship event winner, Liam Crawford shoves AK on the button into limped Queens. There is no help on the board, and Liam is the first day 2 exit.

The first time he sees paint in an unopened pot, he shoves for 25k, and unfortunately runs straight into Aces to exit.

Batman Kapowed!

Dave "Batman" Howard started the day in great shape at just under 200k and was looking to bring the bacon back to Gotham City....just into the level of 3000/6000/500 he clashes with David Robson, who had had the impudence to 3 bet Daves raise to 12k, making it 27k to go.

Batman was having none of it and 4 bet to 65k......but like the Penguin, David would not go away and 5 bet all in. Batman called and tabled pocket Jacks, only for David to table the dreaded Aces.

The board runs out dry for Batman and he is left with pittance to count in his Batcave whilst David Robson takes his stack to over 400k.

Ben Andrews is once again showing his adeptness for No Limit Holdem poker.

Having just lost out to David Bradbury in the Shootout Championship, Andrews is now giving people gas in the Main Event, and has a significant poker chip pyramid in front of him.

Last hand before the break, Paul McGuinness decides he needs 13,000 antes and blinds, so shoves from late position for 70k with 85o. Large stacked small blind makes the call with pocket 99.

While I"m here, thanks to Des and the team for another excellent weekend! No successful for me, but lots of fun, which is what it"s all about. Good to see all the regulars again. When"s the next event?
