Just a cautionary word about next week... during my last few recent visits to Manchester G (including today), I couldn"t honestly describe the poker room as anything other than "chilly". It"s a very nice room, extremely well run with great staff and great facilities, just not very warm. Players have been moaning about it forever, I rarely take my Karrimor fleece off in there. Hopefully the combined body heat of 250+ APATers will thaw it out a bit.
The rumour at the tables is that the heating is controlled remotely by someone from an office in London who refuses to believe that Northerners ever feel the cold. Maybe they"ll have it sorted by next week, who knows... bring a sweater, or if you"re from the South, an arctic survival suit
