Heads up in the Omaha too, between APAT regs. Jo Harris and Tom Clark.

With Steve Redfern winning yesterday"s Hold'em side event, and an APAT member guaranteed to win today"s Omaha side event, it"s been a real APAT Side Event success story!

Back to almost even stacks again (Jake 1.2m and Jack 1m)...

Jack raises to 150k. Jake jams for 1.2m and Jack calls very quickly.

Whoever wins this pot wins the game. If Jake wins he"ll bust Jack. If Jack wins, Jake will be left with just 200k and you"d fear no way back.

The cards are placed upon their backs, and it"s a classic race.

Jake Dursley has Ad 10h

Jack Kendall has 3s 3c.

It"s just the 26 mins now... Longest dramatic pause in the history of updates I reckon.

Was just checking if anyone was reading :) (and taking a few photos of the winner, as we have ourselves a result!)....

If you were reading earlier you may remember that we had ourselves an all-in situation.

Jack Kendall had raised to 150k. Jake jammed back for 1.2m and Jack called without any measurable delay.

The cards were flipped, and the race was on!

Jake Dursley had Ad 10h

Jack Kendall had 3s 3c.

The flop arrived A s 2s Qs

Jake hit top pair, and Jack a flush draw.

2h changed nothing.

The river arrived: 6h

Jake Dursley"s pair of Aces triumphed, and he scooped the biggest pot of the tourney, ending up with all 2,200,000 of the chips in play.

........ If it were not for the depressing heat and the urgency of the work, one could sit down and laugh to tears at the absurdity of the thing, but under the circumstances it is a little "wearing"... Don't flurry; patience gains the day...

With Tom Clark calling Tom Brady over to take a photo of some occurring action, it looks like the Omaha could be nearing the end...

And sure enough it is, as:

Jo Harris has 2 big blinds.
Tom Clark has (number of big blinds in play - 2 big blinds).

All that remains is to say a massive thanks to everyone here at Rainbow Casino. I think this is probably the most flawless and professionally run APAT event I"ve witnessed.

Thanks to Alan, Serg, and the rest of the cardroom staff for putting on such a great show. Thanks to all the valets, dealers, and other staff who were cheerful and helpful throughout.

Thanks also to Tom for his updates.

Until next time. Stay classy Bristol :)
