Liv boeree raised to 4,500 from middle position and Brandon Adams called from late position. The big blind also called. The flop was    and the big blind checked. Boeree bet 12,000 and Adams called. The big blind folded after contributing some money to the pot. The turn was the  and Boeree moved all in and Adams made the call. Boeree:   Adams:   Boeree would need a river ace to stay alive, but didn"t get it when the river card blanked off. She scurried out of here as Adams collected his chips and stacked up to 350,000.

Biggest Pot So Far  Brian Schaedlich limped from early position before Jeff Kimber raised to 6,000 from the button and Schaedlich made the call before the flop came  qxx . Schaedlich checked to face a 6,000 bet from Kimber that he raised up to 15,000. Kimber then reraised up to 50,000 before Schaedlich raised again and for all his chips. It was a huge raise considering how deep these two were. Kimber snap-called with  qq and a shell-shocked Schaedlich turned over aa  . The turn came  and river  to hand the biggest pot of this year"s Main Event to Jeff Kimber, a massive 681,000. Schaedlich"s back down to 387,000 and, as he was handing over chips, he commented "What could I do?" Kimber said he would never have gone to war without the goods because of the size of Schaedlich"s stack.

this post came about 10 minutes before the 1 above

Thu, 10 Jul 2008 13:56:39  Interesting Table  A really interesting table has emerged in the Blue Section here in the Amazon Room. Our chip leader with 824,000 is Brian Schaedlich and he has just been sat along side Thor Hansen and Jeff Kimber. Thor, although seated to Schaedlich"s right, is hugely experienced and will be all too aware that having the relatively inexperienced chip leader at your table offers vast opportunities to do well in this tournament. Seated at the other end of the table is Jeff Kimber. Kimber is very highly thought of in Europe and is last year"s World Heads-Up Champion. He has really managed to grow his stack today (170,000 rise) and will now look to get heads-up with Schaedlich and do some real damage

Jeff"s a top player and he is one of a number of pros like Julian Thew and Ryan Daut, who have won big titles and are APAT members.  Lets hope he can keep it together for the rest of the day and beyond.

I"ve just had a call from Tony, from the floor at the Rio.  Eck had fallen back to 30k and things were looking a bit grim, but he"s gone on a bit of a run in 7 minutes, and his Jacks have held up against Ace Queen, while he hit a Queen holding Ace Queen against Ace King and he is now up to 220k....in 7 minutes....while the average is around 140k.  Around 940 left, with 666 cashing....C"MON ECK!
