To try to co-ordinate payments for these events is tough at the best of times.  To try and organise payments links for four events in the same evening would be a bit much.

It works both ways.  If the payment link for all four was on the same night and you couldn"t be in for that night, then you would miss out on them all.

At least this way, hopefully it gives everyone a chance to register for at least one of the events.

I understand your frustrations, but I"m sure the event at the Vic will be worth it.

I think its the fairest way of doing it. These events are always oversubscribed and there are always stacks of players prepared to be in front of their computers the second the seats go on sale so why not?

I was going to say that, but thought I"d try and be a bit more diplomatic.

But basically, what Ian said.

He"s right though, some of us are unsafe to be released into the community  ;D

Apologies if I sounded short with you bbmoney. I hope you get into the events of your choice. If you"ve never played an APAT event before you"re in for a treat.

Good luck.

The razz, omaha and stud are a new thing for APAT and I hear what you are saying about playing holdem anytime.  But this isn"t just holdem, this is APAT holdem.  Dealer dealt, no juice, added value, free buffet (get in the queue early though) and a great weekend with a great bunch of people at a reasonable buy-in.

I unfortunately have other commitments that week, so although I am sat in this week, I will have a social life when the side events are on.  Hope to see you for the main event though, as Ian said you"ll be in for treat.

It doesn"t seem like the Omaha has sold out yet, and I would expect the razz and the stud to have a similar or slower take up rate. So I don"t think many people who want it will have too much difficulty in getting into the side events.

Might be clutching at straws here, however cant make tonights Razz clickfest but would like a seat for me and the wife, if on the unlikely chance there is still some available in the morning, is it possible to advertise this on here Des/Moderators ?.

Still places available for the Omaha event I think, which I"d assume would be more popular than Razz, so you should be OK to buy your seats tomorrow morning.
