Not sure about the choice of footwear favoured by some of our members though!!!!

Perhaps a serious look at dress code for season 3.No Trainers only heels!

I agree that the location for the Worlds should be more central. Walsall has a big room and is very accessible for a lot of people.

Like the idea of Antes.

Don"t like the regional games being Saturday afternoon, early evening would be better for me.

Also, I think you should hold a couple of National events in the Portsmouth / Southampton area. That would be nice and convenient for me (and Leigh).

Finally, I"m not sure whether anyone has mentioned antes?

You"re assuming that the Worlds will be held in the UK. Nothing to stop it from being held on mainland Europe.

It took 30 years for the WORLD SERIES of Poker to get outside America....... why should we be in such a rush to get the WCOAP out of the UK?

Good point, I am guessing that is a dig at things like the "World Series" in baseball.

I am only new here but I believe that everyone involved ith APAT, be that organisers, long-time members or new members, like myself, would like it to become quite a big thing for everyone, no matter where they are in the world. Therefore, it would make sense to some day stage the "Worlds" outside of the UK. Perhaps, venues could be changed every year when something like that is visable.

Isnt the WSOP Mostly Full of north Americans - yet that is still the "World" Series of Poker - Likewise when it was first conceptualised 30 years ago wernt all the players American.

Most probably, but as I said the Americans throw around "World Champion" far too liberally when it comes to their mainstream sports.

Just look at the WPT, very few events take place outside of North America. That is most probably why other parts of the globe are being catered for by new tours, such as the LAPT and APPT.

Patience, patience folks.  It will all resolve itself in good time and as we have already confirmed, APAT Season Three will not be starting until the new year. 

It is also very likely that the season will extend well beyond one year, so hang on in there and as soon as we can put the schedule out, we will. 

In the interim, we welcome your continuing thoughts on what you would like to see in Season Three.  Remember, until the schedule is published, all ideas are potentially viable.

I would love to see some more regional events. Some of the nationals are sometimes a little difficult to make so a few more live regionals would be great!!
