So, just to check it"s all registering properly, there will be an online final consisting of 16 players? 4 captains and their top 3 scoring counterparts. The league leaders from each division and the top scoring runners up?

The final will be contested by the 4 best performing players from each qualifying club, which may not necessarily be the captain.  The captain will be non playing under those circumstances.  There will be three qualifying clubs for each of the three divisions, while the best non qualifying club will also go through.

So we will have ten clubs in total in the final and 40 players.

I"m actually really excited by the national online league this year. Aside from a couple of odd occassions I never really participated in the online side of things during Season 2 as I joined APAT after the Season was under way and thought it"d be too late to take a shot at getting on the leaderboards. Really looking forward to first full APAT season! Plus love the format of the league!!!

When will online satellites for the Walsall national take place and when will Blue Sq start adding Season 3 schedules to their lobby?
Will there be expenses covered in the satellites or just seats?

I think there"s normally expenses added but would be good if it were just seats, as at current exchange rate there"d be one seat for every 11 entries in the $10 satty and one for every 5.5 in the $20 sattys... But maybe this would take up too many seats? Might not be such a bad thing though as Satelliting in is possibly fairer than clickfest.

Well I guess I should add my 2d-worth...

Live Nationals - obviously not much needed doing here, it was pretty spot on format from day one... the addition of antes and lengthening blind levels makes it a perfect introduction to "pro format" deepstack poker.

Disappointed that the Euro champs isn"t at the Perla, in Nova Gorica, Slovenia... maybe next year?

Online Nationals - although I was a vocal opponent of the move to $11 online MTTs in S2, I now feel that the move to $82.50 is just too much. At this buy-in, with the addition of a GUKPT Champion of Champions seat (£75k prizepool in 2008), and with no password protection I think these tournaments may recieve interest from pro-players.

It"s not that I don"t think they"ll be a success at this buy-in... quite the opposite and the more successful they are then the more interest they will recieve from full time players... I think 200+ players is quite likely for these, 200 * $75 * 27% is a very healthy $4050 to the winner.

The rest of it - too complicated!

All in all, as usual, it is great package that I"m sure will provide some great competition and thanks must go to the APAT team and Bl Sq for putting it all together.

Cheers,
Alan

PS. I could be wrong? (I was once, forget just when it was... I"m sure the wife remembers!!)

Think I read somewhere on here the Nationals would be password protected

TBH wont miss regionals.    Went to one Self Deal no interest from Casino and as an advocate that in the 21st century casino poker should be dealer dealt didnt bother again on principle.

To me it all looks pretty good except still no Stud Hi Lo in WCOAP except for in the Horse of course!!!.

No Razz-   Does this mean in 30/40 years Bodders could still be saying he is the Reigning World amateur Razz Champion
WSOP 2014 Seniors 207th - A cash at last!
WSOP 2011 Horse just off a cash :(
WSOP 2012 Horse Crap.  Stud Hi Lo 3 off money :(
3 x Horse WCOAP Final Tables
1 x Razz WCOAP Final Table
Apat Series PLO Runner up 2011
3 x APAT NLH Top 10 Finishes

Both of these feature in the H.O.R.S.E so no need to have individual events for them I don"t think. Plus I think a H.O.R.S.E tournament would get a lot more interest than either of the two standalone from folk who want to be known as the best all rounder...

All of the areas selected for inclusion in the National League have bricks and mortar Casinos / Cardrooms, offering the potential to roll the League out live in Season Four.  North Wales did not appear to have a suitable cardroom.
