Apologies Leigh, I"m finding it difficult to get out of "banter mode" at the moment - maybe at the end of the season.....  :D

You"re okay.  I"ll chill out once I"ve got my Captain"s sorted.  I think Southern England and Wales are mostly hibernating for the winter or something.

Either that or they"ve taken a chunk of their bankrolls and gone somewhere hot for New Year.

We are exceedingly richer than you, lol.   ;D

Leigh , Ian did you miss my post or just ignoring me ?

Ignore you Steve ? Are you kidding ? Would it be actually possible ?  ;D

Apologies, I actually forgot about the post. To be honest I don"t know the answer, and that aspect may not yet have been finalised. I"ll take it up with Des.

If the National League starts on 1st Feb and runs each fortnight and my calculations are correct then Round 13 clashes with Day2 of the Scottish National. Will this be moved? Can the dates for the league games be published somewhere (apologies if they already have).

Just trying to get my diary sorted and want to play as much as possible.

We will publish the dates later today, but there are no clashes.

For scouse et al....

All players in the National League events, including the final, will begin with an equal number of chips.

thank you for answer !
although disappointed  with it means no difference between poss 4th and 1st!
Most league tourneys finals have chips stcks in relation to finish positions.
Is there no scope for this to happen ?? Is it just me that thinks this?
Cheers Ian , Des

I understand your thinking behind this Steve but in a game of such variance, I think it would be foolish to set it up with such handicaps.

Equal chips FTW. Just my opinion.

for the national league when you go to reg for a team you say

Where possible, try to choose the club most local to you for the season.

I dont get this do you have to or dont you because if you do have to then why put Where possible, try to choose the club most local to you for the season.
as its online there can be no obstacles for any player not to choose the club most local 2 them i think apat needs to make there minds up on this before i choose between brighton or glasgow

Yes looking at some of the threads on the sign up pages there does appear to be confusion whether this is an on line or live league. It is ON LINE !!
I think the reason Des has asked you to sign up for your local club is to stop the formation of a SUPER team.

but it still says "where possible".
There are already cases of players joining teams that are not local to where they live.
