I have a concern over the National league concept:
It looks like there is already the formation of several "super" teams and others wll be barely scraping together 4 players. The competition element will be limited with perhaps 4 or 5 teams with any chance and any one signed up to a minority team having no chance of making the final.
Example of this is in the Northern division where Glasgow and Edinburgh already have more members than the other clubs put together.
Maybe limiting a club to 12 players and having a,b,c,d,,,,, teams for the clubs who have many members.
People will soon realise that they have no chance and the national league games will just be between members from the same 3 clubs trying to get enough points to finish in the top 4 for their club. Unless something is done to make the leagues even in terms of numbers there is a real possibility of this being a bit of a failure, especially as the season goes on .
Do others have thoughts on this matter?
