I think, given the lateness of the press release, tied to the fact its a bank holiday weekend, we will have a slower sell through for this event.  I"ve been wrong before, so I would suggest being at your pc on time.

Hia Des and the team,

Well worth waiting for. Your work appears to have produced spectacular results. A natural progression for the best amatuer players in the UK is to take the step up to play against UK pro"s, something provided for by GUKPT. What an amazing package.

My only concern, as I hinted at the other day...

What about foreign nationals and exiles living abroad (ie. me shortly!!!). Will there be seats set aside for international competitors or do we have to pay for getting over to regionals over here????

Thats my only concern, apart from that it all sounds amazing.

As u may have worked out...I intend to come over from Germany for EVERY event next season. Thats how good the package u have put together is!!!! ;-)

Hi Lee,

You will have the option to effectively nominate a Region if you so wish, and of course there will still be a good number of seats available to National events via direct buy in.

We"ll speak before you go I"m sure, but I do wish you and your family the best of luck with your posting to Germany.

Regards,

Des.

Is Poker Player still a sponsor for season 2? I can not see any news on that but I could have missed it.

As others have already said... Wow!

A lot to take in and, I am sure, a lot of flesh to be put on the bones as time goes by.

I would like to echo the praise of all the hard work that has gone into setting this up by Des, Richard, Tony and those who wish to remain unknown, on behalf of us - the amateur players... Well done and thankyou!!

I do have a few observations and questions... I was preparing a long post with all of it in, but I think perhaps I"ll post it one section at a time so that comments/answers will be easier to track... assuming my ramblings make enough sense for anyone to deem them fit to comment on!  :-\

Thanks again APAT.
Looking forward to Season 2.
Alan

PS: It hasn"t taken a week to come up with this... I"ve been on holiday.
