It"s worth noting that the fate of the IP/Linq"s poker room has been debatable for many years.
Firstly, it started out as really small (3 tables basically) then got frequently moved as they renovated the entrance a few years back.
When they did re-site it closer to the entrance it still wasn"t immediately obvious where it was as most of the tables weren"t visible and, again, it still wasn"t much larger.
Then you have to consider that it was a sandwiched between Harrahs and the Flamingo (also CET properties) both of which had poker rooms which were bigger and better than that at the IP/Linq.
Plus, the IP/Linq clientele were never going to be high-rollers so the capacity for rake generation was limited.
The only thing it really had going for it was the Mixed Game and that moved to TI some time ago but even then support was waning for that option.
