Final Table in the Team Championships already.

The exits were pretty rapid from the final 2 tables.

Chaotic pace of exits in the team event.  With 10 remaining, Italy look a near certainty to take the title, with Ireland a near certainty to take Silver.

Still no exits on the final table, but we have to note the excellent atmosphere that this event has been played in once again.  A credit to all teams.

With Fabrizio"s exit, Ireland are now guaranteed Silver and in with a (very) outside chance of taking the Gold for Italy.  Germany are favourites for the Bronze, but Spain could still overtake them.

Sure enough he calls.

Eammon has  A s Kd

Board  7s Ac 7h 5s 3s

Eammon doubles.

Ireland and Italy tangle at the top of the table.

I arrive to see that Frank has all  his chips in the middle having been called off by Luca

The board is  3s Js 7d 6s Qs

Luca, I think, had  Ah Qd, I only caught a glimpse.

Frank had kept his cards and flips  A s 4s

Nut flush...Frank doubles.

Philip Henze is standing but my view is blocked by the backs of the rail.

Apparently, there is an all in and someone is thinking.

Its Diogo Batista

Diogo Batista had  Jh 8h and Philip AK off

I couldn"t catch the cards because of an obstructed view but i think Diogo caught a card and eliminated Philip.

With Philip Henze"s exit, Spain now have a clear line in the sand to secure Bronze.  They need an additional 14 points.

The noise is starting to generate looks from the floor...

Germano Cerruti and Diogo go to war

Germano Cerruti  has  10d 10h

Diogo  Kh Js

Board runs out  4h 2h Ac 5h 5c

Germano doubles...and so does the volume.

Unfortunately, Diogo has had to leave having accumulated a large stack so he"ll be blinded out.
