Craig "Zozzy" Dawson has Bryn Kenny and Jason Wheeler in his squad.. Both nearing final table in event#2 and with Carlos Mortenson and Jason Somerville still in the shoot out and garunteed a point seems a superb start!!

With Event #1 complete, but not affecting us, the next four events are running. The current position in each of them is:

#2: 8 left on the final table and we still have Greg Merson (chip-leader), Bryn Kenney 2nd and Jason Wheeler in this. Jeremy Ausmus also cashed for Carl.

#3: This one isn"t looking great for us. With 117 to cash, there are 198 still in but we only have Scott Clements in the top 100, though Chris Bjorin, Calvin Anderson, Erik Seidel and Allyn Shulman are still hanging in. Pleased to see that Wing Wong is going well in this.

#4: There are 31 left and Craig McCorkell, Jason Somerville, Carlos Mortensen and Loni Harwood are still in and are already in the cash. [Doug Polk and Joe Cada are also still in, though does that matter?]

#5: The Colossus. The first group has just begun the final level of their day. At the start of the previous level there were 1,200 players still in. There seems to be a surprisingly high number of pros showing up in the chip-counts for an event that was expected to attract recs. I expect they"re just choosing the players they know. Carl will keep you up-to-date with minute-by-minute action from this tournament tomorrow.

Loni gets involved in a big hand and then makes a move that takes the pot almost all the time, but runs into one of the few hands where she will get called and is almost wiped out. Gone soon after.

We had quite a few players in the money, all bunched together. Craig has two scoring players, Mortensen and Somerville. Suzanne also scores with Mortensen. Tom has Cada and Polk, with Polk as his captain, and Somerville is Adam"s captain. Paxo has McCorkell.
