So the scores starting the Main Event haven"t changed from those listed above. Just to make sure, I"m going to recheck the results for each player in case er, Carl, has missed any.

I have rechecked the results of each player against their WSOP record. There were some discrepancies, mainly the results for #37 and #45 hadn"t been added to the spreadsheet (apart from the final-tablist, who had been included). There were also a couple of other omissions for single-point cashes, but everything agrees now. The race at the top hasn"t changed much:

Event 68: No-Limit Hold'em MAIN EVENT - Day 1A

Martin Jacobson was too ill to perform the opening ceremony, so there must be a question over whether he will be well enough to play by the final Day 1.

Of our other players, Carrel, Duhamel and Ausmus have made it through to Day 2, but Leonard, Baxter and Seidel were eliminated.

First time i have played this and I did find it fun but I think I might have missed a trick somewhere.

How do you..

a) Know who is going to be there first of all? and

b) Know which players are going to play tournaments in volume?

Were Philip Gruissem or Ana Marquez even there?
