Don Roberts has almost trippled up.

UTG opens, MP peels, DR 3 jams 77 and is called by SB who has KK.  OR and peeler both fold.

7 in the window and Don scoops a nice pot and is back to around 59k at a 3k bb

Paulie D 3jams 66 from the bb but walks into Andy Overtons 88....

On another table, Ken Mcbride jams the sb with K8 but cant outrun Andy Duncans pocket in the BB.

JP Round on about 16 BBs pushes all in, Andy Duncan immediately pushes all in for circa 130k and it comes round to Don Roberts last to act - thought, but not for too long, then folded showing QQ - JP flips over A 10 but Andy shows AA and takes the pot and knocks out JP in 17th spot - Gary Maddison having previously departed in 18th place.

We lose Todd Priest in 15th.  A failed river bluff, when straight and flush draws miss, doesnt get through Don Roberts

So action has been quiet in the main event, so Tom and I order food.  As soon as we are stuffing our faces, action erupts.

Firstly we lose Craig Lostitch in 14th, when his AJdd cannot rebink when aipf vs Stuart Clarkes A2o.  Flop comes 245dd but no help follows.

Then we lose Andy Overton in 13th. Jason Duke opens KK UTG, Don Roberts peels JJ on button and Andy Overton 3b jams his AJo from the blinds.  Duke flat calls and Don finds a fold with JJ.  Board runs out 33358 and we lose Andy.

Don has now folded QQ when Andy Duncan had AA pre, and JJ when Duke has KK.

Looking around the room, seems Team Gothams very own Dave Howard is an early Chip Leader in the PLO8 Side Event.

Can he make it 3 in a row for TG in the PLO side at Cov.  He won the event in season 7, and Dwayne "Bane" Stacey won it last season......
