It"s a fast start to Day 1B, with one player already eliminated.

Steve Rumming raised to 200 pre-flop at 25/50, holding AK, which was called by David Gregory with AA and Dann Williams in position with JT. The Flop was AK4 and all three players checked (tricky lot, these APAT players). A blank Turn saw just 500 chips each entering the pot from Gregory and Rumming, with Williams folding. Another K on the River gave full houses to both players, AAAKK against AAKKK, and the pot was raised and reraised until all the chips were in.

Very unlucky spot for Rumming. Gregory is the early chip-leader with a little over double the starting stack.

Two big hands in succession on Table 6.

In the first hand, no cards were actually seen, so we only have the players" word for what they claim to have had.

Simon Hill raised to 150 pre-flop and was called by Richard Baker, but then reraised to 650 by Dylan Herbert. Paul Haines then raised further to 1,700 and it was folded back to Dylan, who called. On a J-high flop, Paul led out for 2,300 and Dylan folded.

Paul says he had AK, Dylan QQ. Also Richard Rudling-Smith says he folded JJ pre-flop, which I can easily believe.

The very next hand saw Richard Baker lose 7,000 chips to Robert Smith.

Richard had AA, Robert had KQ, and the flop was AJT.

Richard did well not to lose the lot.

An unhappy Rich Baker.

Table 5 was showing a board of 8d 10h 5h Qc 6h when I came by, with 4,000 chips already in the middle.

Gareth Smith in Seat 1 checked the River and Daniel "Day" Lewis in Seat 2 bet 3,000.

After thinking about it, Gareth called and was shown 10d 10c, with Daniel having flopped a set, which was the winner.

Scott Brown has been knocked out. He lost just about his whole stack when Mark Channer flopped a set of sixes against his AA.

Chris Webber quickly mopped up the small amount Scott had left.

Richard Baker is out, getting his diminished stack in with 9d 10d on a flop that gave him straight and flush draws. Both players were drawing and both missed, but Q-high beat T-high and Richard is now free to prepare for the seven o"clock tournament.

The player who replaced Richard Baker has been particularly active. Having raised pre-flop, he moved all-in on a flop of Q94.

Due to the history over previous hands, Dylan Herbert had no hesitation in calling with KQ and was shown AJ.

The board blanked out and Dylan added 12k to his stack. Debbie Kimm was moved into the lucky seat.

The very next hand, Dylan opened for 725 (at 75/150), which he claimed was an accident. He was called by Bogdandorin   Serea in the SB. With the flop showing  10s 4d 2c, Dylan bet 800 and Bogdandorin raised to 1,875. Dylan asked how many chips Bogdanorin had behind. Some other players tried to answer on his behalf, but Andrea the dealer was very firm in telling them that they were not allowed so to do (though I could see he had 16,000 behind).

Dylan raised again to 4,500. "Have you got Kings?. I beat Kings" said Bogdandorin, and called. On the Turn of  9h, he moved all-in and was quickly called by Dylan. Dylan"s 10d 10h had flopped a set and was ahead of Jc Js.

Having knocked out two players in two hands, Dylan now has the most chips, with 50k. Andrea is ruling Table 6, with Dylan close behind.

That"s the end of Level 4, and the 15 minute break commences. When we come back we"ll be on 100/200/25.

70 players remain with an average stack of 18,200.

If anyone has any chip requests, post them here and me and JM will get them in the break.

And AA keeps losing.

It has lost several times already today, and Ian Witt has lost with it twice.

First he had  ad1 Ah against Kyle Hyman"s A s Qs and three spades on the board doubled up Kyle. Then he had it again against Diane Marie Chevrier was eliminated when she made a straight.

Richard Magee has been eliminated unluckily, rivering a straight with Q4 and losing to a bigger one, when his opponent had 84.

Board 77653.

No raises pre-flop, presumably.

JP Round has also been eliminated, though we haven"t heard the details. "Bad beat?", I asked. "No", he said. "Bad play?". No answer.
