Couple more updates for the APAT guys...I must say, they are not all feeling particularly positive at this point...come on!!!

Frank - 21k (after running top pair and kicker into a queen high flush)

Rodders - 18k (a rough estimate...???)

Karen - 15k (me: what happened? Karen: I"m useless)

John - 10k (me: what happened? John: I played bad poker)

Glen - 57k ( Qh Qs on a  10d high board doubles him up "quick, put it on the forum, it won"t last long" )
Davie P - 36k ("is my double up on the website????")

It seems to me that Debbie may have the right idea given the negativity!! All said in jest though and with the blinds at only 200/400 there is still a lot of time and a lot of play.

So, turns out that I put the "wrong" double up hand for Pilkington...sigh

However, it is pretty good one...

Holding the  Qd in his hand, the board runs out with  8d 9d 10d Jd and his opponent is holding the  Ad and pays him off for the full whack

(Is that better Dave?? :P )

Sad times as our only cheery APATer has been eliminated! I didn"t catch Debbie"s exit hand but I am hoping to go find her and find out...if she can remember...hic...

In other news:

John has doubled up to around 21k - he had 6h 8c (I couldn"t get a straight answer as to why he was in the hand at this point...) on a flop of 6d 8d Js. He pushed, got called and held.

John then proceeded to lose 8k when his  10h 10s was no match for his opponent who, short stacked, pushed over John"s raise with  Kh Qs. The board runs out  Ah Jh 2d Ks 10s.

John then turns to me and says, with a certain air of disdain, "people are so in love with king queen..."

Karen has approx 32k but has still not perked up! She hit a full house and was against a flush but stated "I still didn"t play it well, I only had bottom house but should have raised the river"

Don is "on fumes" (about 7k) having still "not won a single hand in 4 hours"

Graham is also feeling the pressure on around about 7.5k

Dinner break coming up, maybe that will help...

Karen is a little more upbeat at the break, she made a "great fold" (positivity!! Finally!!) when the fourth heart fell on the river and her pocket kings did not include the king of hearts.

Players are now on a 45 minute break for dinner and will return at 21:30.

When they come back we will be in level 7 with blinds at 400/800 with a running ante of 100.

We still have 157 of the 268 who registered with an average of just over 34k.

Less updates on Irritating Man please. No one cares.

Updates on Glen winding people up, Rodders, if he is still awake, and whoever else I know who is still in.

Stood chatting with some of our lot at the break so have a few little tidbits for you.

Firstly, Don busted just before Debbie and sneaked off without saying anything!! I will catch up with him at some point soon.

Debbie filled me in on her exit hand - Short stack ahead of her shoves all in following a bad beat the previous hand. Debbie calls for slightly less and a big stack behind called both.
Short stack -   Ah Ks
Debbie -  Ac Qd
Big stack -  7s 8s
The board runs out with 4 spades on it and Debbie is sent to the rail.

John Murray has also exited. His  9c 10c didn"t improve against villain"s  Kh Qd (happy days for John, he obviously enjoys people"s apparent love for king queen, so he will be thrilled to have been knocked out by it...)

Players are now back after the dinner break, good luck to the remaining players.

I was also informed of a "last longest" between:

Debbie
Rodders
Karen
Frank
John
Glen
Pilkington
Curly

So, far, it looks like this:

Debbie
Rodders  - 24k
Karen  - 34k
Frank  17k
John
Glen  - 55k
Pilkington  - 25k
Curly

Taking bets...

Graham Gorton is the latest APAT player to be sent to the rail. He slunk off into the dead of night also but will try and catch up with him...
