WHAT AN ENTRY AFTER HIS RESEATING !

Table 4 is being reseated and Ivo Schoofs moves to table 1 and he makes a hell of an entry there.

First hand (he was still unpacking his chips) Ivo raises to 2.4k.
A Wallonian player reraises him to 7.5k
Ivo takes his biggest pile of chips and pushes the over the line
Wallonian player makes his all-in call

The board is an unpleasant one for Ivo when the Ace in the windows is being hunted by a Queen and an 8.
But the turn brings relief when a Jack arrives
The river ends the fairytale for the Wallonian player forcing him to push his remaining 35k (which was avg by the way) stack towards Ivo.

Ivo must be the first player moving over the 100k gap. Matthias was close but Ivo beats him to it.

Bert Neels moves all in with pocket rockets... His opponent calls with TT.
And as the title suggests, the Aces don"t hold.

The board runs down 9732T... We have seen some cruel rivers today.

HUSBAND BASHING BY BERT NEEL"s CLAUDIA

Bert Neels brought his wife to the tournament and at the final three tables they ended up side by side at table 2. We pick up the hand when Claudia is all-in and Bert makes the call. Eddy Vanspauwen in the BB als puts his stack over the line and we get a threesome.

The first one is the elimination hand for Joachim Wallaert.

LET THE CRAZY-NESS BEGIN

10 months ago, the Casino de Spa and APAT hosted the very first Crazy Pineapple tournament; and since then the event has become more and more popular.

Back then Didier De Swert defeated 42 other players; the following tournaments in Namur were won by Arno Cattoor (59 entries) and Maxime Leroy (60 entries).

Further improving the number of entries will not be easy (as the Casino de Spa is not that big of a poker casino as Namur), but we should be able to beat the field in the inaugral Spa tournament.

We started the tournament with 30 players; and there are 2 hours of late registration. Players receive a stack of 8.000 chips with blind levels of 20 minutes.

3 of our Red Jacks players are in the field: Joachim Wallaert, Niki Raskin and Christoff Gebruers.

Plus we have an Amateur World Champion in our midst. Philippe Henze won the Heads Up Championship Bracelet in London this year by defeating Rieuwert Fleer after an exciting final. He will also play tomorrow"s Team Event!

ACES FOR SUITED ACES

Geert Ceulemans and Didier De Swert, both playing tomorrow"s Team Championship with their "Suited Aces" pokerclub, certainly picked a good name for their club.

In the same minute (on 2 different tables) they both doubled up... and although their pocket Aces weren"t suited, they both enjoyed an excellent start!

The H.R. tournament is in Level 5, and 30 players have entered so far... which is what we pretty much expected. There still is little over an hour left to register.
