Gladys Jarvis, starting Day 2 as the lowest chip stack with 18,200, gets it all in pre-flop with Ac Qh and is called by Gary Langley holding A s 10h.

Flop 7h 10d 9d looks bad for Gladys to double up and the 10c Turn kills it before Js River and sends her to the rail as our first departure on Day 2.

Not long after Gladys departs we have last Thursday"s Online Satellite Winner Jon Camsell, who used his seat this weekend, get it all in for 23,500 and is called by Gary Copeland.

Jon A s 5h and Gary Ah Qh

Board 7h 6c 7s 8s Qs and Jon leaves us in 26th position, 10 spots off a min cash.

Chris Thorpe gets his 20k stack in pre holding A s 10c and is up against Ah 8s and holds for a nice double up.

Andrew Dodson does the same holding A s 10d and holds against Jd Kd to double up to around 70k.

Graham Foster pushes with Qs 6s and is called by Ian Dawson holding Qd Js
and on a Board Qc 7h 9c 10s 2h Graham departs in 25th.

An unlucky Dave Stones holding 7h 3c on a Flop 3d 7s 2d has Ryan Kilbey pushing on him holding 7c 5s only to see a Turn 10h and a River 10d to see him lose the hand with Ryan"s 5s playing.

Stephen Fung gets his 38,700 stack in holding Qc Qh against Kevin Simpson who called holding A s Qs and with Qd on the Flop Stephen survives his all in.

An "all in" and a call sees the  Ac Kh of David Stones do battle with the  10h 10s held by Scot Turner...

Flop comes  5d Ah 2h and David takes the lead leaving Scot needing to improve.

The turn is  9c reducing Scot"s outs to just the two remaining tens or David gets the double up.

The river is  Kc and David makes an irrelevant second pair and takes the pot which more than doubles his stack to around 95k.

Still 24 players left, blinds at 1500/3000 with a running ante of 400.

Another all in and call, this time it is a push from Malcolm Hedley and a call from John Nixon.

John has  Ad 10s
Malcolm has  Ah Qh

The flop brings something for everyone -  Kc 10h 5h

The turn is  Js and Malcolm makes the straight.

The river is  3h and Malcolm gets the double up.

And again!

Steven Fung pushes with  A s 6s and is called by Kevin Simpson with  Ad 10s

Another interesting flop of  Kc 5s 6s

Steven calling for a spade but the turn is the  10d

Still shouting for it...

the river is  4h and we lose Steven Fung from the tournament.

David Amos holding Kc Ks calls Normal Hall"s all in for circa 50k with Norman showing 6c 6s.

The inevitable Flop 6d 7c Ah looks bad for David until the Turn Kh and River 8d sends Normal to the rail.

Must be the time of day, another all in and call.

We see Scot Turner pushing his fairly short stack with  Kh 5c
He is called by Craig Hindson holding  Qc 10s

The board runs out  Qd Jh 9c 4d 7s and we lose Scot Turner.
