So early action then

unraised pot and a flop of  th 6c 9h 6d

Leigh Wiltshire bets 200

Shameen Jivraj raises 500

Steve Bayliff re-raises to 1700

Leigh folds

Shameen calls

turn  ac

Shameen bets 1000

Steve calls

river  :3d:

check check

Steve shows  ts 9s and wins with flopped two pair

Shameen mucks

so Scouse Bayliff is the very early chip leader

Table 20 seat 3 just won a 4.5k pot vs seat 7 with a turned house against a straight flush draw which hit a straight on the river to pay off a bet of 1200.

Iain Anderson against Mark Ryan

There is clearly a Doctor Updater in the house.

Ah bugger! I just went to have a flutter on Grant Spiers, Ross Johnson and Kenny McKenzie but the page is no longer available. So does anyone fancy a "my guy will last longer than your guy" or an "all of my guys will last longer than your guys" prop bet?

Woot Woot for Scouse having an early lead!

Steve Bayliff has eliminated Phillip Chadwick

They saw a  A 10 10 flop

Phillip held Q 10 and Steve A 10

It all went in......

Claire MacGregor is now in as an alternate

Steve had earlier taken half of Phillip"s stack with AA v 99 on a A high flop, 9 on the river

Mike Bodman is up to 17,000

Very interesting hand on table 2

On a board of

js  qs 4h kd

Jonathan Hellman raised Miles Adam"s 1,300 bet to 3,500

Miles called

Miles bet out 1,500 on the  7d river

Jonathan made it 5,000

Miles is holding  jd jh

He dwelt for an age, and passed

I saw Jonathan"s hand.....the 5,000 was a superb bet!!

Hi,

I appreciate you are busy, but could please pass a message to Simon (Monkeyman) Alcock. Tell him the Puppet Man has announced his retirement, and, during a break, can he call his brother Stuart.

An early update on him and Steve Stringer would also be appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Julian Ravillous is next out

Holding Q 10 on a J 9 8 flop he lost when the board gave two opponents holding the same hand a bigger straight on the turn
