#4 NLHE 3X

But disaster strikes for one player in the first hand of the final table.
Vince, in the big blind with pocket 10"s moves all in following a raise and several calls. He is called by James Swift holding pocket kings.

Vince flops a 10!! But James flops a king and no improvements sees Vinnie heading to the rail in 9th place.

#5 Mix Max and we reach 36 players and go 6-max, which will continue until we get to 18 players when it will then go Heads Up, with stacks carried forward and highest playing lowest etc... players will go on a break circa 19:40 when we"ll report on player list and stacks...

#4 NLHE 3X

Couple of big hands in succession:

Tong Zhang and Lewis Berman get it all in pre flop
Lewis holding Ah Jd and Tong has Kc Kd

The board brings no sweat with 10d 2c 2s Qs 9c

Tong doubles up and leaves Lewis incredibly short....

So, next hand, Lewis is all in for around 3k and, in the big blind, it is Tong who makes the call.
Lewis has 7h 9c, and Tong 9h 5s

Looking like a chop with a flop of Qd 10d Kc

But, the 7s on the turn sees Lewis take the lead and the 3c on the river means he keeps it and wins the pot.

"one more double" Lewis says...and he is all in again for around 6.2k. Ben Prior had already raised and Lewis" all in was an under raise, meaning that Ben can"t raise again. Chris Keyworth takes advantage of this and calls Lewis. Ben puts in the extra and 3 see the flop Ac 8s 8c
Ben makes it 10k to go - into a dry side pot. Chris makes his annoyance at this known but folds.

Ben shows 7s 7c
Lewis has 10c Jc and has the flush draw...

The turn is the 3c and Lewis gets there. the Ah on the river doesn"t make a difference and Lewis doubles up again.

Next hand...Lewis...goes all in!
He is called by Peter Thompson and James Swift.

They both check the board down and we end up with Jh 4d 6c Kc 2d

Lewis has As 8c Peter mucks and James shows Qc Jd

Lewis leaves the tournament in 8th place.

#4 NLHE 3X

Quads seem to be the flavour of the day here.
Chris Keyworth raises all in pre flop from the small blind and the big blind, Peter Thompson, asks for a count and makes the call.

Chris has 9s 9d
Peter has Ad Kh he is behind but it is Chris who needs to avoid the ace or king as he is at risk...

No worries about that with a flop of Js 9c 7d

Just to be sure, we get the 9h on the turn.

And like a slap in the face a second too late, the Ah on the river.

Chris has a very healthy stack and Peter is still well in it.

#4 NLHE 3X

A few hands later and Stephanie raises pre and gets a call from Chris.

They see a flop of 6h 5h 7h

Chris leads out for 11k and Stephanie pushes all her chips over the line.
Chris says "gotta take the gamble sometimes" and calls.

Stephanie says "I have a straight flush draw..." and shows 9h 9s
Chris only has the draw with Ah Qs

Not long to sweat as the turn brings the Qh and Chris takes a dominant lead...

3d is not the card Stephanie was looking for and she is sent, most unimpressed, to the rail in 7th place.

#5 Mix Max goes on a 30-min break, and unfortunately player receipts/tracking cards have been removed from the tables, so a chip count and player list will be provided when the event reaches 18 players and goes Heads Up... players coming back to 500/1000(100) with an average stack of 40k and 25 players left...

#4 NLHE 3X

Having lost a huge amount of chips in the hand against Chris, Peter Thompson moves all in from the small blind and is called in the big blind by Andrei Cucu.

Peter has 8d 4d
Andrei As Ks

First card over is the Ac and it isn"t looking good for Peter...7c 2c no improvement

Ad on the turn and it is game over. The 8s is irrelevant and Peter exits in 6th place.

We are now on the money bubble with 5 players remaining and only 4 getting paid...

#4 NLHE 3X

Ben Prior decides this is his hand and moves all in from the button with Ac 8h

James, in the small blind, re raises all in and Tong in the big blind gets out the way.
James has 6s 6h and is not optimistic. But Ben is at risk and behind as we look to the dealer...

9d 7c 9h 2d 4d

James" 6s hold up and Ben is our bubble boy.

Congratulations to all who are left, all in the money.

Now for the important bubble...medals...Good luck to the remaining 4 players.

#4 NLHE 3X

Double up for Tong:

Two players see an unraised flop - Tong Zhang in the small blind and Chris Keyworth in the big.

It is 3s 2h 8c

Tong moves all in 49.5k and Chris calls.
Tong has 8s 9c and Chris has 8h 4h

Js on the turn and there are chopportunities but the 8d river means Tong will double up through Chris.

Chris still looking fairly healthy though.

No real change in chip stacks before this point, play very steady.

With blinds at 3k/6k wit a 500 ante, Andrei finds his spot with As 8c in the small blind. Tong and Chris have folded before him and there is only James in the big blind left.
Andrei moves all in for 56k. James sees the two picture cards and calls - Ks Jd

Andrei is ahead but at risk as the cards come down 6h 6c 5h Qs 3c

Andrei doubles up, James takes a small dent to his stack but is still sat as the fairly comfortable chip leader.
