#4 NLHE 3X

With Andrei in the small and James in the big, Tong makes the call from under the gun.

Chris, on the button, asks how much Tong has behind...he thinks for a while...and reluctantly folds.

Andrei makes up the small and James checks.

Ac 10h 3s

Andrei and James both check, Tong makes it 12k to go and Andrei and James both fold quickly.

#4 NLHE 3X

The final four are back after their break and ready to go.

I am going to try and blog hands as they happen and give a feel for the table.

#4 NLHE 3X

It folds to James in the small blind who announces all in.

Tong looks down at his hand, in the big blind, and calls.

James has Ks 3s and Tong flips 10c 10d

First card over...Kd

followed by Jd Jh 6d Qh

Tong is the medal bubble boy and comes 4th for £450

The remaining 3 will all receive a medal.

#4 NLHE 3X

The break obviously did something, next hand and we have another all in and call.

Chris moves all in from the small blind and Andrei calls.

Chris has Qd Qh
Andrei shows As 7s

The flop brings sweats and outs all over the place with Qs 10s Kc

But the turn finishes it off with the wrong spade...Ks

The river is 3h but it was already settled and Andrei is our 3rd place finisher,

He wins the bronze medal and £575

#4 NLHE 3X

Missed a few...

But we have James now down to 40k and Chris with...the rest (around 600k!)

James moves all in with 10c Jc and is called by Chris with Ks 3d

The Js on the turn takes it and James doubles to around 80k

#4 NLHE 3X

And again, short stacked, James pushes and Chris calls.

4d 6h for James and 5c 6s for Chris.

The river gives James the straight and he doubles through again...around 160 but Chris still maintains a big lead with around 480k...

#4 NLHE 3X

And, we have our winner!

James finds pocket 9"s and moves all in, Chris has Ks Jc and makes the call

Ah Js 8s on the flop and Chris takes the lead and is two cards away from the win.

Ad on the turn and 3s on the river and James is our silver place finisher. He takes a silver medal and £870.

James Swift... Silver Medal

From WCOAP 2016 #4 Holdem 3X

Chris Keyworth is the winner and receives a gold medal, a WCOAP bracelet and £1255.

Well played to all.

The only remaining event of the day, #5 Mix Max, reaches the Heads Up stage as we lose 2 players in the same hand, meaning we go to Heads Up with 17 players - therefore the Chip Leader (who would have played the lowest stack) has received a bye into the Final Table 9... the Chip Leader being Tom Clark with 119k.

Heads Up match draws, with chip stacks, to follow...

Is there no end to Chris Keyworth""s talents?

First he reinvented the nail file. Now he is smashing up poker. What next?

#5 Mix Max

And we are off, first few hands underway have seen a few raises pre flop but without much action.

Dawn Cook has just taken a sizeable pot, around 25k, without showdown on a Ah 7d Qh 7h 6c board against Deividos Durkevicius.
