That was a huge phase for Ireland, with a first, two seconds and a third.  As a result they lead the field going into phase three, which will start in around 20 minutes time.

6 Max and we reach the bubble and Timotheos Timotheou gets his 32k all in pre-flop with 7c 7d... called by Simon Tester with Qs Qd and easily covering Tim...

Board comes Ad Kh 9s 6h 2h and we lose Tim on the bubble... and quietly on another table Stephen Lacey departs in 18th place for £100 payment...

17 players remaining are coming back from a break to blinds 2000/5000 (500) with an average stack of 84,705

Blimey - Hard work registering an account to leave a comment but hey, here goes.

Come on England, come on England!!!

I"m super confident Shirley Cole can lead this very capable English team to success.  If I could - I would also bet on Cole to be overall points leader by the end of it.

Come on England!!

And our PLO8 Champion, Steve Roderick (Rodders) is involved in some action down to the final 17 of the Six Max.

Board is Kh Ac Jk and Carlo Hassan bets 3k only for Rodders to immediately announce "raise" and Carlo has his cards mucked before Rodders can say how much his raise was...

-----

Shortly after Carlo ships his stack and Rodders calls holding A s Ac, Carlo flips 89o and Board comes K229Q and Carlo departs with £90 for 17th place...

-----

Elsewhere on a Board 8s 6h Kh Marius Wouters bets 8.5k (70k behind) into a 20k pot against Mo Suhail who pushes for 150k and Marius folds...

Martin Coughland pushes all in and is called by a slightly shorter stacked Steven Jones

Steven shows Ad Js
Martin is behind with A s 10s but has Steven covered.

The dealer gives us 6c Qc Ah 4c Qd

Steven's Js plays and he doubles up leaving Steven very short.

Three way all in between Tristan Chaplin, Edgar Drozdov and Mo Suhail (he says he is meant to be on a date.2 hours ago.)

Edgar Ad 5s (at risk to both players)
Tristan Kd Qs (covers both players)
Mo shows 2c 3h

Flop is 6s 7h 9d

Turn gives the 10s and Edgar still has the lead.

2h on the river!! Mo takes the lot and Edgar is eliminated from the tournament.

Edgar finishes in 14th places for £110.

A few hands later Martin, very short following the hand against Steven, moves all in and Matt Gilland wakes up with Kh Kc and makes the call.
Martin has Ks 6c

The board comes out Qc 2s 7h 3h 9c

Martin is out of the tournament in 13th place for £110.

Following a clash between Matt Gilland and Luke Evans when Luke"s Q"s hold up against Matt's AK, Matt is down to around 18k.

Following a clash with Rodders, Steven Jones is left with 5k.

Both move all in and Steven - at risk, shows 9h 2s
Matt - 9c 6c

3h Ad 6s flop moves Matt ahead.

Kd turn
4d river

Steven Jones is out in 12th for £130.
