#17 Day 2 Main Event

Craziness after the break and we have a 3 way all in:
Lisa Tan has the most chips and calls with Jc Jh
Joel Holmberg is at risk from Lisa and has Ac 10d
Richard Andrew has fewest chips and holds Kc 3s

The flop is 3h 4d 2d

Lisa still best but options for Joel and Richard...

Turn is Qc Lisa still ahead and set to take out 2 players.

5s on the river spoils her plans and Joel makes the straight. He eliminates Richard in 48th place.

-----

It isn"t long before Peter Burgon gets it all in with A s Ks against Lisa Greer"s Jd Js

Peter is behind and at risk.

6s 10d 3s gives Peter more hope with the flush draw.

He is noisily shouting for it....

Kc on the turn will do and Peter takes the lead.

6h sees him keep the lead and get the double.

-------

Within a few hands, Pat Costello finds all his chips in the middle against Marco Vascencelos

Pat has A s 10c

Marco has Ac Kd and has Pat covered.

10d in the window as he dealer puts out the cards...but, hiding behind it is Ks 9h

3s Jc on turn and river mean that Pat is sent to the rail.

#17 Day 2 Main Event

Pat"s exit puts the tournament on the cash bubble and, therefore, into "hand for hand" mode.

It doesn"t take many hands and what a hand it is:

Matt Whiting, on the feature table, raises to 18k

Chuc Khuu moves all in for around 36k

Marcin Rejmac makes it 56k and Matt makes the call.

With two players still with chips behind, we go to a flop - no hands shown.

Js 4h 10s

Matt checks and Marcin reaches for chips but Matt folds.

Marcin rolls over Jc Jd for top set.

Chuc groans in frustration and slams his Ad A s down.

Qd on the turn gives him extra outs for the straight...

But 7h means Marcin"s set is enough to send Chuc to the rail as our bubble boy.

Congratulations to everyone else for making the money.

Action is fast and furious as we creep up from a min cash...

Nigel Rantor has his Ad Kd cracked... 8d 6h hits 8h first card out and Nigel goes in 39th for £220.

Nigel is quickly followed by Carl Pilgrim on the feature table when he has his Aces cracked all in pre-flop by Freddie Dehling"s Queens with a Q on flop... Carl cashes for £220.

and almost immediately over on another table Sung Yun"s As 9c is all in against Kh Ks and doesn"t improve to depart in 37th place with £220.

We now move to 4 x 9-handed tables with 36 remaining, next cash £255
