All of the live ranking events for season 2 have now passed (last online one on Bluesquare on Saturday)

The £300 Pro-Am seats for October recently went on sale and there are satellites on Blue Square for this.

But I wouldn"t expect to see next year"s details published until the end of the year (at least, and even that might be being optimistic  :) )

The European Team Championship at the beginning of November is the last event of Season 2.

So, that would be a no.

It"s nothing new - season 1 started in September 2006, season 2 in October 2007. I think it"s a ploy to put those of an impatient nature on tilt, so that us fish have a better chance come the start of the season  ;D

It would make more sense to me if season 3 started in January 2009. Oh, and that"s not based on insider knowledge, Des doesn"t tell his minions anything....... at least, not this one.......  :D

I"ve posted this before but...the beauty of poker seasons, is that they are not weather dependent and can last as long or short as the organisers deem fit.

jan 2009 would seem a sensible start for S3 given the current calender for S2.
