2 points for me not 1 :) Rutter and Laming. Just saying.

Lol, I just showed Dan cos of him having a tenuous connection to APAT through you. Forgot you actually picked him for your team.
Point to Mr Laming.

STAKER
WSOP tournaments are starting to run out. Anyone can still win one of the Goliath satellite seats.
And every event has its own prizes. Entries close at 9pm Wednesday for #62 PLO High Roller.

Whatever you do, don"t forget to take part in the Main Event, where there is a £250 prize for the best entry.
Entries for this will close at 9pm on Saturday 9 July.

Best name - Woody Deck.

You may think that online grinder and supernova David Nowakowski is the most boring bracelet-winner ever, but I would challenge your conclusion.
First, there is a hell of a lot of competition for that position.
And secondly, the guy has managed to pull, not one, but two transsexuals.
Respect!

STAKER

Are you a bit off the pace on the Staker leaderboard?

This is your chance to catch up quickly.

The high-roller events have been added to the Staker schedule:

#62 $25k PLO High Roller             6 July (today)

#67 $111k NLHE High Rolder       8 July

You have been given the buy-in for these two events. The winnings will be massive. And you get to keep whatever you win (okay, maybe not).

But, best of all, it is a chance to knock Simon off his perch. That"s enough reason for me.

No smirking here, I"ll be happy to get a top ten place overall as 1st to 10th all get the same Goliath ticket :)

Been a great promo , all the lovely satellite tokens will keep me busy after next week.

Oh , by the way John, I looked for you on the leaderboard but gave up after 70 places, have you entered?  ;D

STAKER - WSOP #56: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em

Staker          Profit
Stuart Aitken          £1,107
Tom Feilding         £   524

Stuart and Tom found profits in this event by taking shares in Darryll Fish and Roberto Romanello.

#54 and GUKPT London produced some small wins but no overall profitable stakes.

But never mind about that - I understand there are some big wins for stakers in the Players Championship, if it ever finishes.

Event #58: $1000 No-Limit Hold'em (30-minute levels)

Runners          1397
Paid          210
Final Table          9

Player          Position          Points
Jonathan Little          155          1
Rhys Jones         183          1

Glenn          1
Paxo          1

Gotta be honest - seems like a pretty boring final table.

Here instead are a couple of more interesting and familiar players, who got close but missed the final:

Fatima Moreira de Melo (14th) and Ryan Riess (23rd) - judged "more interesting" by our panel.

The stupid tag team event is underway. To clarify, before it gets too deep, I don"t think there is any alternative except to give full points to everyone on a team. My preferred alternative would be to give no-one any points for it, but I don"t suppose that"ll fly. Take the Gross-Rast-Esfandiari team, for example, which is still in the competition, with 141 teams remaining out of 836 that entered, so almost in the money. Rast is still playing the Players Championship, which is down to three players on Day 5, so reying on the other two to give him a free pass to a cash and maybe even a bracelet. All members of the winning team get a bracelet, so I guess that"s that. I just hope the Negreanu-Selbst-Ho-Williams team doesn"t win, as that might cause havoc with our leaderboard.

The event is currently led by the Little-Little-Little team, consisting of Jonathan Little and his parents.

Mercier"s triple-bracelet attempt looks likely to run out of track.

He has been trying hard, including multi-tabling, but not getting traction.

When the $10k PLO went on dinner-break with 65 left, he jumped into the $3k NLHE and doubled-up first hand. Then that one went on its last break of the night, so he left that stack to find its way to Day 2 and entered the $1.5k Triple Omaha, where he quickly ran his stack up. It didn"t work out in the end.

He just missed the cash in the Players Championship and, now, the Mercier-Barbour-Kanit-Weiman team has busted the team event and Jason has moved on to the $25k PLO. This is a four-day event and he is going well so far, so he will probably miss the $3k PLO Hi-Lo, which will leave the $111k NLHE as his final opportunity. Would he enter the Ladies event?

How ironic would it be if he won the bet with Selbst, with bracelet #3 in the Ladies event.  I know it"ll cost him $10k, but I don"t see how he can turn the event down.  I"m not sure I"d write him off in the main just yet, either.  He might fill the Negreanu spot this year.
